Nice light lunch

The prequel to the meal arrived in the form of a salad, a warm bun with some really fluffy butter, and some brocolli soup.
The Soup was VERY thick - the closest to porridge soup can come. But it lacked appropriate filtering as there were bits of rusk in it. The taste was well ballanced and rich, but the occasional texture of the rusk bits distracted from the enjoyment of this. The salad was greatly helped by the dressing. But that should not be the case (ought to be able to stand on its own). The bread was warm and moist inside -- and the butter seemed freshly whipped; which made it really light --both spread and tasted like a cloud!. Only a slight hint to butter taste.
Then came the chicken atop rice. This dish had a well-balanced taste -- with the seasoning of the chicken complimenting the cheese atop it. The vegtables were not all well cooked - some being very hard (virtually uncooked). The rice (below the chicken) complimented the taste of the chicken.
Finally the tea...
The tea came with coffee cream modules. Not keen to feel ill later, I asked the server to please provide milk - which they did (thanks!). Bagged and unremarkable; but tea all the same.
Supplementary Information:
This establishment has (free) guest internet available - a nice, thoughtful touch.

Lousy prime rib

Had a king cut prime rib, big thick cut, price was reasonable, but fairly lousy, might as well don't serve them if they can't make it right. Combination appertizer plate with back rib, not bad at all, variety and plenty of decent tasting food for $70 or so, highly recommended. Beer & wine, marginally expensive. Service, very lousy, not the fault of the servers, but simply not enough employees during this busy Friday evening.

Could not be worst

This was my second time with the poor experience, though one must say I am stupid to have it twice but it just happens. About 1 year ago, our friend booked the place and thwe impression was very short staffed. This time as there was a lot of people in the mall during lunch so I gave it a try with the belief that it had improved. The truth is, it just get worst. We order some food (as simple as possible, just set lunchs) and after a while the soup, bread and salad came though the bread was not delivered. Though the staff themselves promised to come back with more but it never materialized. As it was just bread, we did not insist but the things went from bad to worst. 45 mins passed, the food did not come and I could hear similar complaints from the nearby tables too. While the staff casually anwsered the food was being prepared, they did not really check.. In a way, I don't blame that staff totally when they are working non stop but the altitude was regardless problematic. As expected, the food never came eventually after an hour and when I lodged my complaint again to a female staff whom might have felt my anger and did not even come back at last. Finally, we could only leave with the stomach empty. Outback is just a joke and I don't know how it could survive all this years.

Went there for dinner last night. I have been going to the different outback steakhouse for nearly 3 years now.
They retained the same great food quality but the service is just getting worse and worse! i mean....what is the deal man?
the got the original roast prime rib (medium rare) superb as always! might be a bit raw for some but then this way you can really taste all the juice and flavor of the cut!
Also as the side, i strongly recommend the sweet potato!! a nice and special side they offer at outback
ceaser salad was great! i hate it when the sause is too sweet or has other things like carrots of cucumbers in it...but this one is the plain and original ceaser salad with the perfect dressing.
if only they would improve on the service i think i'll definitely go back more often!
