i think it has some of the best beef balls in hk. that beef flavour is very rich.... it has a little bit of the "shan chuk" beef "(dim sum) taste. i like it....

and of cos... "kai yeung" toast!!!! i can eat this in singapore... and i think in hk, so far i've only eaten it from 2 dai pai dong. one is tak fat in tst, the other one is in stanley.

i'll come back and have another bowl and toast when the weather is a bit cooler ~ tongue

many "tong shui" house's standard is deterioating.......

lots of my frds agree and told me dun go anymore. but i reli wanted to try again... i ordered the most simple "tong shui" but the most simple is the hardest to make. I dun recall any good black sesame soup......... if it's more hot.... it's better.

anywayz, i hope it can return to the standards back then.

all i like abt this restaurant is its thick toast.......

and the breakfast set meal ends at 12pm not 11am. Good...

haha.. but the only thing we dun like is the service, seems like ppl are serving u very fast but wants you to leave asap.

it's a miracle that 2 seconds after you order, some of ur food arrives already.

tongue no matter which season is it... i love coming to eat here.
The congee is so "cotton"................. and without MSG. I've ate congee with MSG....
i love to eat plain congee with a "ngai nee so" and fried noodles.....

it's cheap and fulfilling!!!

this shop's food brings me warmth esp. in the winter time. and cuz it's a "dai pai dong"!!! my favorite

MR. JIMMY Just OK Aug 27, 2008

I'll go back and eat cuz of Mr. Jimmy's service.
He was so nice, always check back and introduce to us what's good and wt's healthy.

But don't choose to sit upstairs.. it's very crowded. Someone, i think the food is overall average. Maybe if i ate at lunch, i'd feel it's more worth it.

That night we had duck breasts and mussels spaghetti. i think duck breasts tastes better than my mussels.

I recommended to my frds... we'll go back for lunch*
