小小冷知識,一直都同朋友講去食high tea..high tea..扮貴婦...後尾有次睇電視先知,原來英式黎講,lady們社交活動食既係叫"afternoon tea", 而"high tea"係for d 藍領人士做完工作,下午5點後,係張高台食果d先叫"high tea"...原來係咁...領悟了...shocked

同朋友都去過幾間酒店食"high tea"...成日都話點都要終極去半島食返次...今次我地知係應該叫afternoon tea喇...
 
星期六黎,知道半島係由兩點開始可以食,同埋係唔接受booking, 老規矩...排隊!!! 我一點半開始去排隊, 一路見龍頭..行行行...前面有大約40人左右, 我剛剛排到去轉角位, 酒店服務員好維持秩序,唔會出現排錯隊或"打佔"情況出現,而且非常好禮貌又好笑容, 一路排都見到不同國家遊客, 前面係韓國人,前前面係日本人,後面係西人,好埋..聽到幾次d人見到條龍都大叫"oh my godshocked"...

我地三點左右有位喇...歷時排左個半鐘, 都係預期之內,好在係室內,有冷氣..又聽到樂隊演奏...但好唔好彩我地被安排果度台係最近條龍,所以坐低所做既一切都會比人望住,太開揚了..但我地都無理..繼續影相..繼續傾計..

環境黎講,半島係好有古典feel,好classic英倫feel,但由於就係大堂關係, 太多人出出入入, 其實唔靜...台與台之間都有d距離,唔會太密集, 我地當然叫左個tea set食啦...5xx一份, 我叫左latte, 朋友叫cappaccino...本來想叫花茶....好在latte都唔差..個杯好classic...
 
tea set 份量唔算多, 聽話半島既scone最出名最好食...試過...吾...都唔錯, 好香好鬆脆,牛油味唔太濃, 鍾意點奶油多過jam, 有兩件堤子乾,有兩件就剩scone, 本人鍾意剩scone多d...smile

中間果層都係咸點, 有小青瓜三文治,小焗撻, 類似牛仔肉既小三文治, 小三文魚麥包, 都係一般般,我認為係牛仔肉果個比較好食...

最高果層都係甜品, 有罌粟子牛油蛋糕,一般般...macaron出奇地難食,唔知點解有d"益"味...好怪,食唔落...士多單梨mousse朱古力還可以,同埋有個係梅啫喱vailla cake,都算清清地ok...甜點係成個set最差的...
 
um..睇黎真係食一次已經夠, 我地見識過就算...環境唔夠寧願, 食物一般般...要300蚊位架...其實300蚊可以食lunch or tea buffet..我地到此一遊可以了...

又搵地方同朋友慶祝生日喇,之前一直都想試黎下,終於可以約齊人黎食下,仲係星期一可以用八折coupon,掂啦~

我地一共七人, 見到個六人餐都唔錯丫,有時多人食飯時就個個你推我拱,唔想揀野食,個餐又岩食..就叫個餐加雞翼就好喇~

先食左個signature雞翼先, 一碟有6隻,我地叫左兩碟, 可以揀兩種source, 有水牛/他他/蜜糖芥末/農場咁, 我地除左冇叫他他之外都有試,因為他他即係好似沙律醬咁, 雞翼都好大隻,不過炸得比較過火咁, 一望就知好熱氣呢...應該用左不少香料去醃,有少少五香味咁, 初初以為汁係會撈埋d雞翼上,原來係自己點黎食, 水牛少少辣,就稀d...蜜糖芥末較討好,味道易接受,而農場汁就奶白色無乜味...吾, 雞翼無想像中好食...

蕃茄忌廉湯, 酸酸地夠蕃茄味,可以醒醒胃食多d野喇...

蒜香焗露絲瑪莉燒春雞, 燒春雞黎講都唔算細隻喇, 起碼人人都分到肉食,味道唔錯,蒜香味夠入味,肉質都juicy,薯蓉奶味就重左d...整體都唔錯...

大力水手薄餅, 都係佢地o既招牌, pizza上有兩隻半生熟雞蛋, 切開時蛋汁即必出黎, 又多芝士, 加埋d蛋汁食原來效果都唔錯呀,不過凡地咁多野食,食一塊就夠喇, 幾好呀...

蜜糖燒烤豬肋骨, 黎到見到兩塊正方形咁疊起, 一切開原來好長,好大條...可以有八條,但係太長喇,有d誇張, 味道唔差,不過肉質始終都係凍肉會比較鬆散,勝在用味道撘夠...

脆薯角配手指魚, 六人份量六條手指魚, 薯角份量都多, 前菜黎講算大碟啦...

卡邦尼闊條麵, 本身餐唔係,係我要求轉,佢又比...太好了...個卡邦尼唔知點解甜甜地, 夠芝士白汁,係個味甜甜地有d怪, 變返咸d應該會好味得多...

忌廉蕃茄醬配雜錦海鮮意大利飯, 睇個樣淺橙色覺得都好似麻麻,但食落大家都好驚喜話好食,清清蕃茄味, 意大利飯就比一般軟身, 不過個味道真係幾討好,唔錯呀...

甜品係香蕉奶凍, 夠smooth夠奶,不過個香蕉味假左d, 有d似藥水味,可以再做好d....

wings kitchen可以再encore丫,本來睇其他食評話lei度比較迫好嘈, 可能我地七個人已經坐左最大果張台,同其他台都有返d距離, 又係平日,所以覺得唔太嘈呀,反而係我地掛住又食又玩最嘈tongue 同平時有返張八折coupon感覺上底d..帶cake黎收30蚊cut cake fee都算make sense,比得過...

朋友住麗城果邊,佢話食過一次都唔錯, 對鍾意搵食黎講,知有好地方就會去試試~

麗城灣景間直係自成一角,係荃灣千色撘的士去,30蚊左右,係圓型商場,由地面一入去成層都係屬於nova, 樓下就係保齡球場,見到環境都幾靜,幾寬敞, 係買飛等waiter拎野食比客人,當日有打黎訂台,好在有book,我地7點幾去到,越夜都越多人黎食,可能係星期五關係,又落雨...加上開始人氣上升...大家都想黎試試...

我地三個人, 但見set dinner唔係太岩食,而menu上都唔算十分多選擇,不過我地一早已經鎖定左食卡邦尼, 最後就只係叫左一個set dinner, 有湯,有沙律,有個豬肉,有餐飲咁...另加一個卡邦尼, 一個pizza同甜品...

店員好nice, 可能果個係老闆娘, 雖然我地只叫一個餐,只有一個湯,但佢竟然好細心咁幫我地分開左三碗,唔使自己分太好了,大家都係飲兩三啖已經夠,係西蘭花忌廉湯, 好creamy,又有西蘭花茸,好香,好味...沙律係parama ham加caesar salad咁,我本身就麻麻地parama ham,剩係食菜同車厘茄,嚐新鮮

main course係...唔記得全名,有三塊煎封既梅頭豬扒咁, 外面煎到好香好乾身, 而入面就唔會話好乾爭爭,不過肉質似平時煲完湯既瘦肉咁,唔肥,一切開就好易散, 同埋都可以唔使好刀,但味道唔錯, 加上佢個汁係近似蜜糖芥末醬, 配菜有焗新鮮薯仔煙肉,生菜同好juicy 既小蕃茄,好味,成個main dish 都唔錯,只係豬既肉質比較鬆散...

另外,聽話意粉都係佢地自家做, 我地叫既卡邦尼呢,有隻蛋黃係上面,黎到可以自己撈,外觀會靚d, 同埋亦都為唔食蛋黃既客人著想,唔食可以"潑"走,不過對我鍾意食既卡邦尼黎講,蛋黃應該係熄火之後將蛋汁放係意粉上,用餘溫令蛋汁撈到整熟先叫最正, 我就prefer咁樣好食d, 當意粉送到我地台面再撈時就唔夠熱力去整熟,所以成碟卡邦尼會比較濕d,佢既意粉係自家制關係,唔夠一般既彈牙,煙肉都建議可以煎香d,其實整體都唔錯,賣相係幾好...

而four cheese pizza, 應該有4隻cheese? 好香芝士同茄醬味,厚批唔粉,趁熱食溶溶既芝士好滿足..

甜品叫左檸檬撻同心太軟配焦糖雪糕, 個檸檬撻整得好靚呀, 好有心機將面頭蛋白霜唧花,再用火槍燒過, 入面檸檬味好夠,酸酸甜甜, 只係撻身牛油味"so"左些少, 心太軟外面比較干, 入面就夠朱古力醬,加上個雪糕好味,平時食開多數都係雲尼拿,而佢係焦糖味,唔錯...

我地三個都係飲花茶,店員好好..幫我地加左一次水, 本身應該係一杯3x蚊, 一壺就貴d, 但佢話叫一杯都夠飲...慢慢嘆下花茶,同朋友係個舒服環境下傾計係快事...

nova有VIP制,食滿100儲一個印,夠10個印仔可以做VIP, 好似話會送晚餐咁,都幾好喎..不過岩果邊住客多D,平時都好少入去果頭食, nova係唔錯既cafe,可以hea下..舒服飲杯coffee或花茶, 不過...就偏貴...可能散叫,同咩都試試,關係,三個人食左600蚊了...食物方面又未到超級lam俐,都唔錯架,可以再encore

經朋友介紹,大家都一齊黎試試...食完第一次之後,我再帶朋友食第二次

第一次,因為無訂台關係,坐左出面,都唔錯,好在天氣唔熱,反而坐出面更舒服, 見chow chow cafe,原來老細真係養左兩過兩隻鬆師狗, cafe入面都有狗狗既大特寫.一隻叫curry,一隻叫pepper,不過有一隻好似已經唔係度,對鍾意狗狗既人黎講,入去食野見到狗狗相會更開心...

可以叫set dinner,或menu上見到其他想食既都可以加錢轉餐, 我好欣賞可以咁樣轉,自由度大d,因為未必次次set dinner都係有自己想食既,更因近期需要戒口關係,牛同海鮮都要暫時分手,今次set dinner就真係唔太岩關係,我另外係menu揀返我最愛卡邦尼轉餐...

湯揀磨蘑忌廉湯,creamy好味,仲有烘熱既芝麻包,沙律係螺肉,不過我無食...同無影相...個湯同包都好味,好鍾意waiter好型咁拎個黑椒電筒出黎幫客人加黑椒...哈哈tongue

我個卡邦尼呢...見到就比較乾,同超多菇,可惜我唔太好食菇,所以將煙肉同意粉食晒, 意粉同煙肉比較硬身, 同個意粉無乜source,係味道就好香,帶蒜香味,可以再多返d蛋汁同芝士會更好,都同老細講意粉比較硬,佢話佢地意粉係會偏向煮得硬身,下次可以同佢地單聲會煮耐少少,好nice丫...

而我第二次呢,坐入面,環境係細,燈光柔和,都都可以靜靜地同朋友傾計食野,叫左個set dinner,有南瓜忌廉湯,都係好creamy,唔錯, main course係加拿大豬鞍架, 個名好似係咁, 稱為"豬扒"先...個豬扒好厚, 咬落好爽口,又香豬味,仲有肉汁架, 好欣賞,係個汁就比較淡d...個豬真係唔錯,下次再有可以encore, 但配菜蓄茄好juicy,係薯蓉就好淡喇...lei 個set din都要180蚊左右...係貴d...不過食得出選材好...

好欣賞餐甜品係有好幾款可以比客人揀, 大約有香蕉奶凍,cream brulee, tiramisu, 朱古力cake咁,上次同今次都係揀左香蕉奶凍,唔錯,好香又滑...

我幾鍾意chow chow cafe,可以再encore, 係覺得元朗黎講,就偏貴啦,不過佢比o既材料都係好既,唔係馬虎,揀野食自由度教大...

太多時間係屯門,有時食到唔知食咩好就會搵d新野黎試下...今次就揀lei間拉麵食下...
係pokka集團,入面裝修都有d日本feel...

我唔敢再試d 咩黑蒜湯底,只會揀返豬骨湯覺得會穩陣d...揀左個豚肉拉麵,熱辣辣黎到好心急試下個湯底先,算夠味,不過可以再濃d...麵份量又唔係話好多,可以再彈牙d...糖心蛋都唔錯, 而個豚肉就有d肥膏痴住,又肥又滑...不過一定要咁上下肥既豬肉先會夠香夠琳身,夠入味, 不過都係覺得碗麵成七十幾八十蚊好似細碗左d,可能係又食貴租掛...

另外叫左雞軟骨串食...燒到乾爭爭..硬掘掘...BAD....但叫左個餃子就唔錯,皮薄餡多,夠juicy,好似成差唔多四十蚊先得五隻...

吾,我同我媽媽都話普通,唔係差,但貴左d啦...
