I suppose Yee Kee had closed down for some time before this new location. I have been missing its serradura for a looongggg time!
I am so happy to have a chance to taste their serradura again!!! No other serradura can be compared to this shop!

At the beginning, I was quite nervous that they might not be able to maintain its standard. Then I was delighted that it still taste like the good old times. I ordered the green tea & original flavour. The flavour is rich~ the texture is smooth, and it's like melting snow in your mouth once you start tasting it. I also thought of ordering takeaway but decided that it might be too much.

I'll be visiting this shop from time to time!
Hope more ppl would get to know and give a try to this little shop!

I have visited this shop many times in the past. Used to have very good desserts e.g. parfait, fruit ice dessert, etc. This used to be a shop that I would drop by alone just to satisfy my sweet tooth.
I think I have not visited this shop for the last 1/2 year, and can't believe now it turned into THIS.

Yesterday, I went to the shop after dinner nearby with my BF. Ordered the melon ice dessert, which used to be my fave. It turned out to be very plain, and did not have much taste. In contrast to the past, it used to be very fruity and delicious. Major disappointment!!!! It's expensive too!!!!! It's now nearly $60!!! Totally not worth it.

This place is overrated!

My BF and I chose this restaurant because we expected to have a relaxing & delicious lunch.... and it was anything but this!

Firstly, you better reserve a table before you come if you really want to come. We were fortunate to be able to get a sidetable by simply walking in (perhaps it wasn't so much of a blessing afterall). Anyway, we were kindly advised by a busy staff to make a reservatioin next time. And later we felt we were LUCKY after all for walking in, because there would be a surcharge for reservation!

Yes... service mediocre...

Oh well, we sat down and read through the menu. The antipasti bar looks nice, and so we ordered two set lunch with it. We tried to wave to the staff to take an order, but they never seem to see us. When we place the order, the staff looked quite annoyed, prolly because she was extremely busy (she need to take the calls, take orders & assign tables). But frankly, we saw quite a lot of staff in there, and all of them seems to be working in a clumsy way. I think there should be a better division of labour in here, otherwise everything is slow, inefficient & you end up to get annoyed staff. So blame it on bad management.

For the food... still mediocre

Don't get me wrong! The quality of the antipasti bar is good. You get the basic salad, some tasty italian rice (something like risotto but less thick i guess) etc. However, I warn you that if you arrive late, you may not be able to taste the good stuff. We arrived at around 12pm, and was FORTUNATE again to get the final bites of a mouthful of italian rice.

BUT... the main course.... is a disappointment.

Some-kind of fish pasta that we got. Bad fish taste. PERIOD. (see below) My BF and I cant finish it.....The fungi risotto is such a disappointment!!! Extraordinarily ordinary! I fancy all kinds of risotto but this is nothing near my expectation!!!!!!!I don't know what else I could say about the main course....

As for the dessert... mediocre again.
of coz we don't expect anything too special because it is included in the set. BUT that was again... mediocre even for my sweet tooth. I love to eat desserts, but this is =.= Just some kind of cream with an ordinary biscuit. Way tooooo sweet for me.

Because this lunch/dessert didnt satisfy me, we went to a yogurt shop nearby In the end, it is nothing delicious nor relaxing.... it is modiocre food & service. The service is slow & inefficient, but didn't give you a 'relax' feeling because of all the clumsiness we experienced.

Oh, just before I end my ventilation and to be fair, I would say the scenery is quite nice (if u minus the construction site, poor service/food)

我同ＢＦ試咗３隻ｙｏｇｕｒｔ味（試小小，一細條）～　之後加ｔｏｐｐｉｎｇｓ都知唔可以加太多。。。因為一磅就知死！
只係加咗：　少量mochi, oreo powder, strawberry

最可憐係唔知食緊　Ｄ　ＭＵＤ！！！　而且好 artificial geh flavour!

之後灰咗！以後唔會再食！！！！

I have been eating in this place since I was a child.
This place used to serve high quality food and sevice... but now all has changed.

I have visited this restaurant for around 3-4 times over the last year.

This time, the food quality is BAD. like fast food (or even worse!)
they still got those fancy names for the dishes, but wuz the use when the food is bad???

北京填鴨 : used to be delicious and fun. However, now the wrapping is served COLD and the duck is only a bit warm. The wrapping used to be served in a steamer.... but these days they juz give u a big plate of it and is COLD. Blah.

"Sin Wu": i used to luv the panfried eel served in here. but this dish had become very OILY now. u can see a layer of oil. SCARY!

Vegetable & mushroom: it took >30min for them to serve. Obviously they have forgotten the order but insisted they did put it down when we asked to cancel (we have finished our meal at that time).
So.... after >30min of waiting----- this dish is AGAIN... COLD. Oh no, I mean the vegetable is HOT, but the mushroom is COLD!!!!! Then we complained to the waitress... and she told us that she will "叮" it back. GREAAATTTT!!!! We come here to eat 叮叮 food!!!!! THis worth $78!!!!!!! I might as well go to 7-11 for dinner.

We also asked them to pack the remains of the Beijing duck..... and they forgot eventually.....

I deliberately brought my family & BF here for a nice dinner, but what did this end up to be?????
I'm so miserable after this dinner.
Such a disappointment. I'm not going to visit this place again.
