On a wednesday night at 8pm.
As the lunch in this restaurant was quite valuable with good service and comfortable atmosphere,
we have just tried dinner. We visited by 4 people, and we start from a bottle of white wine (Cuvee Clemence/ France $280-).
I forgot to take photo but it was very smooth medium body and I liked it very much.

Steamed vegetables ($80-) is good match with miso sauce.
Smoked platter, is really smoked at the restaurant, so it was really smoky.

The Eel Rice ($200) was nice and I think this is a kind of signature food here.
It was cooked & served by pot, the portion may be for 4 people.

Lamb chop with miso sauce ($160), tasted interesting.

For others, we ordered King Prawn Tempura ($80), appetizers (3 kinds platter), Cod fish, Scallop Butter grill.
King Prawn Tempura was really nice! and we opened one more bottle of red wine (Marquis de bellfort 2006).

Total consumption about $1600 for 4.

I had found a nice contemporary japanese restaurant in central.
zuma at Landmark is so stylish and cozy atmosphere.
Almost of all customers are american or europe people maybe.

I had
- Salad
- Aspara Robata
- Ramb chop roast
.. some other dishes
and 4 glass of champagne.

Location, Service, Atmosphere, everything is nice and very valuable,
especially food price is not expensive. Drink prices are a bit expensive for me but many varieties there.
I also like their service staff. I would like to come back soon.

Spending Head : approximately $700

One of my favorite French restaurant in HK, and that was my 4th time visited but the first time for lunch time with friends.
I chose a Lunch Set about $600 for 5 course.

I liked very much the Amuse which tastes like vichyssoise with well accent pop-corn. (I may remember I had soup after amuse but no photos as I was talking with friends..)
The second dish was deep-fried fish with egg. I thought it was taste like Japanese cuisine.
The third dish was Pork filet with herbs served with mash potato. Pork was quite big portion and could not finish but the taste ok. I was more impressed by the mash potato which was so creamy & well presentation.

The dessert, bitter taste tiramisu was really my favor.
Taste always nice here. I should try Robuchon Macau soon.

I liked it very much.

- Roast beef salad

- Tai fish sushi

- Shrimp tempra
maybe it's too modern. this is not Tempura for me.
maybe it's too modern. this is not Tempura for me.

- Beef Skewers

We were looking for somewhere in Admiralty and I've just remember one of my friend recommended a Japanese Robatayaki, Roka.

We started by a bottle of prosecco ($395) and lookd menu.. they have appetizers, Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura, Wagyu beef, vegetable' BBQ
, many variety of dishes.

We ordered Roast beef Tataki salad ($120)for appetizers. I thought the texture of roast beef was a bit tough and the sauce was not so match with Roast beef tataki.
Shrimp tempura ($120), is more like western fish& chips style with no tempura soup.

Seabream Nighiri Sushi ($95) was nice.
Beef Skewer, was tough too but it taste ok.
The total consume was about $9.

I think Roka's like following its style to Zuma. But the price little more expensive viewed from the angle of location, service, taste & presentation.
