Three adults with one baby went at brunch time. We ordered breakfast - Egg in the hole, and chicken salad. Egg in the hole sounded a bit funny and when it came, we realized that it was a round shaped bread with a hole cut in the middle and replaced by an egg. Interesting way to present and prepare the egg and bread for breakfast. The egg is cooked fairly raw with both egg white and yolk still running. Besides the egg and bread, there were plenty of sweet potato chips (a bit too rich for brunch for me), sausage and honey coated ham. Sausage was average, but the ham was very well proportioned. When the chicken salad came, we were surprised how BIG the salad was. It was great with lots of green vegi and chicken strips. And it was truly a green salad that the quantity of chicken was not overwhelming, unlike some other restaurants' offer. We were also surprised with ample place in the restaurant considering we were in the middle of CWB in HK, where a street front shop cost HKD3m per month in rent.

Overall, salad was fresh, and the breakfast was great value for money. Two thumbs up.

Pricy for average quality Cries Sep 16, 2011

We went with two other friends Friday night. The place was very busy with a private function, so we had to be seated on the 1st floor. And that might be reason why the waiter was absent when we needed him.We ordered a dozen of oysters, from US - more creamer to France - more sweet, salads as entree. But we were having difficulty understanding the waiter's explanation of the oysters with our limited Cantonese skill and his lack of english. Oysters were oysters, they were ok fresh, but nothing special. For main, we had rack of lamb, spaghetti with king prawn, rib eye. However the spaghetti was undercooked (they cooked again after we complained) and the meat was clearly from a prolonged frozen ordeal with all the tenderness being stripped away. We had panna cotta and warm chocalate for desert. Both were quite good. When the bill came, we were shoked to see cost per head amount to 860. For what? We walked out with disbelief. Overall, an average quality dinner (both food and service) with above average price tag. I won't be going back anytime soon.

Sit down restaurant with fast food style? are you kidding me. Waiters couldn't wait to get us out and it only took us 30 min to finish 2 entree and 2 main. Drunken chicken was too stale, prawn was too over cooked and vegi was way too dry. Won't be a next time

Apparently quite a famous restaurant in HV, so we decided to give a try. One had 3 course set dinner, goose liver, sea bass and cream brulee, one had asparagus soup and rib eye. Despite being french, the cooking style is definitely Cantonese. Red wine is good. Atmosphere is relaxed, but our appetite was ruined by spanish singers in a French restaurant. Singers were rude and unprofessional, not to mention the voice that is worse than my karaoke skill. Waiter also got our dishes wrong. And one more thing, never order espresso there, it's watery, semi hot and extremely weak. Overall experience is below average for a pricey restaurant and high expectation.
