Best Dessert, Worst Service Just OK Aug 06, 2011

Had lunch at Kowloon City with my 2 lil cousins and my aunt. We passed by this infamous Patisserie and decided to try it out. There was a line which is normal. There is a little, very little counter for people to dine in. Since were going different ways after lunch, we thought that's the best choice. We ordered 2 Chocolate Truffle Cakes for the kids, mango nepolean for her and I had one two tea. We kept trying to tell the lady we want to eat here, but her head and mind seemed to be on vacation. She put them in the box and when we tried to inform her our dine in request, she simply gave us a dirty look. Um... The chocolate was heavenly rich and favorful; the Custard is creamy and oh the crispy puff was too die for. My selection was Earl Grey filled. A layer of pudding, cream, cake and nutty bottom. I want my next birthday cake this style. Of course take away by someone that I don't have to deal with the salesMr Tony Wong, please open your next store with seating and nicer salesladies. Dessert experience should be sweet down to the details. Thank you.

My friend took me to FINDS the first time as she knew someone who works there. We went there when they were in LKF and it was a fun night out, so we thought we would try them in the Kowloon side. The Decor is definitely better in the new one, love the chairs and the ceiling features.

I've seen the bartender's name on couple magazine, thus I was thrilled to try his molecular cocktail. There are 2 offered that night, Earl Grey Martini, and a smokey JD coke. I loved it, the foamy got us all laughing and impressed.

We ordered some appetizers to share and the seafood one was to die for. The scallop was so fresh and I love it lingering in my mouth, gotta say, they do make some good salmon. We ended up shared all our entres as well. Roasted chicken tasted like home cooking, meatball was so juicy, and the mashed is so yummy.

The service was good most time; although there was one that seemed not to know what he was serving, but the manager came right away to "educate" us smile

We had a large dessert platter, oh my, that was way too much. cheesecake, donut thingy, parfait...

We left them holding our bellies up, good job, new FINDS.

Lobster for dinner Smile Jul 10, 2011

Friend got a job there and invited me for dinner. It's location is quite odd, inside their clothes shop... Meaning? Shopping while you wait for your dinner$398 for a 3-course dinner, not bad. The choice was quail, beef, lobster and something I can't remember. My friend has skin problem, so she asked for fish, the waitress was very nice and get her wish.I had lobster for main. It started w a carrot soup, portobello salad, and the main. The salad was amazing. It was weird that my lobster came w fries??!! The most happy moment is I find 10 different tea selections.. Haha, very happy ending.Sum up, it was a great eating/ shopping experience

Nice surprise Just OK Jul 10, 2011

Too fresh Just OK Feb 21, 2011

Went there w my family. We requested to sit in the private room. Minimum spending $3000, not too expensive for 6 of us to enjoy that nice ocean view. I'm an oyster fan, o was very pleased to choose my oysters at the bar with knowledgable staff to explain each. Kumomuto- I've always loved the intensity of it, met my expectation and moreTasmania bay - my new found love... Juicy and flavor explosionChateau ( I can't remember that name) was a little under average. It felt like I opened a nice bottle of vintage and found supermarket wineA little disappointment from the wait staff: a bug literally jumped out my uncle's platter and his answer was only "fresh oyster may sometimes have bugs, it indicates it's freshness " ok, fine, but I would expect a little apology from a Sherton restaurant!!! Took out 2 of the 5 stars I've given this experience.
