Sunday night, after 2 days first family Macau trip, will go back to busy HK after this.

Actually, I dined at this restaurant 4/5 years ago, just by chance without doing any research in advance. Was an wonderful experience too, impressed by the interior and service, high quality of food. This time, another by coincidence as we originally planned to dine at another restaurant but it's fully booked. I browsed openrice and found this, didn't realize I came here before until I arrived the entrance. What a romantic re-visit.

Setting on the second floor, waitress turn on the air-cond as she saw us were sweating

We ordered Clams with Lemon, Stewed pork leg with beer, cabbage with olives, 1L Sangria for share.

I always like the bread they served, hot and crispy. Clams were surprisingly good, this was our first time to have clams cooked with lemon, something special, I ate the cooked lemon skin as well, it's healthy. The pork leg was so delicious, honestly, I could finish it myself

To finish the dinner, we had the biscuits pudding, very nice, not too sweet and the texture was very smooth. We all loved it.

Service was pleasant; it's a beautiful ending of our trip.

It's our frst family dinner in Macau. Chose this restaurant not only because it's famous but also their cute name. I like elephant

Actually, I only tried once long time ago, the most impressed thing was the bread.

I called to make reservation one day before, got the corner seat where we could enjoy the little private space.

馬加優 should be the must-have dish, we ordered the 馬加優 as appetizer, mussels in curry sauce and 葡国鸡. Luckily we didn't order any more, the portion was larger than we expected. The appetizer is as big as a main course Needed to adjust the portion sense that we used to have in HK.

We all liked the 馬加優 very much, very delicous, especially when we almost finished the 葡国鸡, and add the sauce to it, yummy Mussels were not bad, but a bit too oily. 葡国鸡 was just so so, only a few pieces with too many bones, smaller portion than the appetizer, that's funny.

Many customers are from either HK or Mainland China, very fast-pace, dishes were ready within 10 min. Good for people want to have a quick dinner before visiting the shopping streets around at night.

After visiting the museum, time to have coffee to re-charge

It's small cafe located in the museum area, looks relaxing with out-door seating. We chose to sit outside, ordered a sandwich with smoke turkey and cheese, watermelon juice for my sister and cappuccino for myself.

Cappuccino was nice, the funny thing is the packing of white sugar and brown sugar look almost the same, the colors are just slightly different. Sandwich was not bad, the only thing was, why they put chips as side...nothing wrong, but just it's too hot and didn't feel good to see so many unhealthy chips there. If they used tomato / cucumber slices would be much better.

Service was just fine, the only waitress there seemed too busy for her to take care of both in-door and out-door area.

There is no similar cafe nearby, so it is the only choice if you want a cup of coffee in a quiet place.
