Hard for me to describe this restaurant as I had been coming here for probably the last 10 years. Since I moved back to Hong Kong I had become a regular here to the point that the boss recognize my daughter. Everything here is authentic, my favorite dishes here are the curry crab with garlic bread, the grilled snapper, grilled pork neck. I tried a few different Thai restaurants in Kowloon City and i have say this is the best one. Only thing I have to pick on this restarant is th...

I had become big fan of Kaya Butter Toast since having them in "Foo Yuen" in Sabah, Malaysia. In search of a substitute I decided to try Toast Box first. Unfortunately, their Kaya Butter Toast is disappointing, tastes like the canned stuff from the supermarket. At least their coffee taste authentic and service is excellent. Also the patio area is nice and quiet to hang out, make you feel like you are not even in Mong Kok. Maybe I will give it another chance and ord...

It was almost 2pm and everywhere is packed with people for lunchin Langham Place. We decided to go all the way to up the top floor to aviod the traffic and we found MR. Steak Cafe. The waitress advised us last call is in half an hour and the salad bar will be close. No problem with that and we were leaded into the restaurant. When we are about to grab a seat and another waitress told us to sit outside instead. Confusing service. So we sat down, the waitress poured us some...

My bro and my sister in law got me this Dark chocolate cake for my birthday from Tony Wong. It is not the first time I had their cakes, I tried the Rose cake before and it was pretty good so I know this will not be disappointing. The Dark Chocolate cake is not too sweet and you can taste the quality of the chocolate. I will give it a 10 out of 10. Thank you Louis & Florence for getting me this cake for my birthday!!

I been here too many times as it is close to my work. We always come here for lunch and we always reserve a table before hand therefore we never have to wait for table. Lei Garden always been one of my favorite place to eat since the first time I ate at the one in Wan Chai many years ago. Service is always excellent and the dim sum is always spot on - it is better then alot of other dim sum places out there and there are lots of choices compare to others. Their soup and busine...

I had been coming to Bee Japanese Curry Shop for more than 13 years. I used to live in Canada and when I visited Hong Kong every time I always stop by here and have their Curry. I am going to be honest, It is not as good as it used to be - There is less beef in the curry sauce, the pork cutlet is not as tender; but I tried a few japanese food court places & pokka cafe, and Bee Japanese Curry Shop still remain the best curry compare to the one I tried. If anyone her...

Heard too many times from food critics that they have the best croissant in Hong Kong so I know I have to make my way here. The quiche is pretty good but I think it is too light personally. Coffee were good, service is excellent. More important the croissant is the best one I ever had - it is buttery, fluffy & crispy but not greasy at all. I used to travel alot in North America and this one is no comparsion to the rest of it and it is only $12!! I actually bought 2 mo...

It was around 5pm we were actually going to eat sushi but there were more than 30 people waiting for table. We didn't want to wait so we decided to stop in at King's becasue it was almost empty. The Hainan Chicken Rice is okay at least it is not greasy. The portion look big but they actually put alot of cucumber underneath the chicken. The BBQ Pork on rice is their signature dish I remember seeing it on TV a few tims before . The Pork itself is on the leaner side but...

Since the first time I ate the Beef Rice Bowl at one of the first Yoshinoya 19 years ago in Shatin, I am addicted to it and even I moved to Canada I always try to find this "don" at japanese restaurant and even when I go visit LA I still go eat at Yoshinoya. I went as far as looking up the recipe and make this dish myself. It is the first time I went back to Yoshinoya in around 5-6 years and I will have to say it is not as good as before (I can actually make it better my...

Woke up from a late night and we just wanted something small before we meet up with friends for lunch, me and my wife walked back on the same street by The Pointe 16. When I walked in I felt like we went back in the 70's - old table and chairs, but clean; it also smell very good with all the declicous suger coated buns. As recommanded by many, We ordered a ham& egg sandwish and a cup of hot milk tea. Be honest, The Austrralia Dairy Company in Jordan is better, but the s...
