simply a rest serving western dishes, the place is nicely decorated with a southern-france backdrop, food were nicely prepared with fine details, credits all go to its tea, don't get the coffee or u're gonna to revisit the place for it, still it's a nice place to chill out wif frenz and wif one's mind rested

nice coffee Smile Apr 18, 2007

recommended by a good friend of mine, joe the coffee mania, who nicely dropped me by; it's a cosy tiny cafe set in the middle of a busy hub, filled with quite a number of regulars with menus on board by side, I was warmly welcomed by the lady in charge and had a try of the day's blend, sumatra, nicely brewed with a tint of strongly fruity aroma, even though cream milk was added, the taste was neiter masked or tasted diluted.

Yet, I got my love, latte, no way a disappointment, its unique expresso taste stood out among the usual one I had, they were both at the standard, its smooth and creamy texture did worth a try. Picked a blueberry muffin as well, besides its crispy texture after being heated up, the fact that it wasn't made with fresh berries and retained a moisty texture made it only an average one.

high end Thai's dinning Smile Nov 25, 2006

Previously being discouraged to try this rest., yet I was recommended to make an exception to this one situated in Admaralty, which according to my friend is ranked as the second best rest. in town, surprised, the ambience was nice if you've got the seats near the open area. A huge variety of dishes would be seen across the menu with an instillation of western elements.

It was first kicked off by a warm drink, lychee ginger honey, good to warm up a bit in these breezy days with the lychee tainted a bit of sweetness yet it's not overtoned by the honey.

Appetizers we had green-mango-fish salad with lime juice, smoked grilled aubergine, smoked duck and scallop paper rolls, tongyum vegetarian, all were pretty authentic and offered a sense of freshness, nice picks. Main dishes were lamb shank with makaman curry, shrimp and crab meat spicy egg noodles; the lamb shank was cooked to the right tenderness with the pumpkin paste served aside, real nice combination i shouldn't deny, the noodles was very thai for sure, spicy together with taints of sourness.

The entire courses were pretty full for us 3 girls, yet still can't resist the temptation of the desserts there, ordered the cassava pudding with walnut and honeycomb ice-cream, the ice-cream was nice esp for me the nut mania, the pudding was served with smoothy coconut milk as well, sure u can imagine how full it would be yet it worths a try.

This's pretty high end dinning for thai food frankly, though, considering the ambience and service, the price's resonable, nice place to enjoy a relaxing evening with friends

Craving for a tint of sweet after dinner at MIX@ IFC, nowhere to hunt for some nice sugar treats while it's raining like hell outside, so finally set in here.

Recommended to give a try to the apple n cinnamon tart ($18) instead of the doughnut of the same flavour as it's a bit too sweet, heated and served...the cinnamon aroma got me right away with chunks of apple filled fully inside the tiny tart of just the right portion for a after-dinner treat.

My sis got its chocolate cake ($25), not sugar loaded as usual and its dark choco taste made my sis fell in love of it

Highly recommended by singaporean frenz and had my first try in singapore last year, the place is featured by its nautical ambience, glittering decor with dished served in pan put on the fish-looking pat. Undeniably the standout dish must be the assorted seafood platter with must-order crispy french fries!!!

Seems like singaporean stuff is invading hong kong these days, and finally come the first Fish & Co. situating in Shatin, nice. The diversity of menu is much retricted and the portion is disappointingly smaller with a higher price though (yet reasonable in this locality). We were served nicely with the manager trainee from sg btw, the dinner would be nice if the oven was ready so we could have its signature dessert. anyway, this's definitely worth going again n again, esp for the french fries manic!!
