i ordered the lawry's cute medium rare and it was delicious! the yorkshire pie wasn't as good as i excepted. the salad is nice and fresh and i like the way that they served it with a cold fork. i personally like salad that are cold and i really appreciate lawry's taking care of that. again, the prime rib is marvelous and is definitely worth gong back.

Dessert - the 5 of us ordered almost all of the desert to try and most of them a pretty up to standard except my chcolate pie which i think is so so. i would definitely vote for the chocoalate cake and cheese cake but they are definitely quite heavy.

Service - excellent service!!!! their uniforms reminded me of a waitress in japanese cartoon.

the place is small but cozy. the waitresses are very attentive and their servies are also very detailed.

we all ordered the $320 tempura set. when i looked at the menu, i thought that we will not have enough to eat. however, to my surprise, we had more than enough. in fact, i felt really full half way. the food is excellent. they served the food course by course and we get around 7 courses including appetisers, soup and a small glass fo wine.

went there on a sunday afternoon for brunch.

$99 for a classic amerian breakfast with unlimited bloody marry and a coffee.

the food is average, the bloody marry is actually quite refreshing, not enough alcohol but still quite good.

wide selection of beer. the beer is always nice, fresh and cold.

the best snack to go with their cold beer is their fries(with curry source). however, if you are a picky nachos lover, you better skip it here.

this is definitely one of my favourite places for beer in hk.

interestingly enough, even though union and dan ryan's are from the same group, similar menu, the food is not as good.

we ordered burger and one of my dan ryan's favourites - papaya chicken salad.

burger - union serves shoe string fries instead of fat chips

salad - same receipt except the chicken is shredded and the papayas are being chopped into small pieces. dan ryan serve the salad in big chunks of papaya and chicken which make the salad taste so much better.

AND, they don't have the muffin that we get from dan ryan's bread basket...

NO GOOD!!!!
