Came here for dim sum since some of the dim sum reviews were good. The ground floor had no staff to show us up so we walked upstairs, but there's no one there to greet us, and the other waiters didn't seem to care.... The decor is black (I guess since it's a hot pot restaurant after all). The tableware/cutleries were also all black. So the ambiance didn't fit quite well with yum cha. The food here is actually not bad. But one main problem here is the SPEED. Unless you li...

I have previously written a review for this place, which was then quite positive. And since we liked that place awhile back, we have actually been back a few times. Unfortunately the manager and the waitresses' attitude got worse and worse at every visit, that we decided this visit would be the LAST. 其實味道唔錯,但係經理同伙記態度真係好過份,決定以後唔會幫襯。 huffy 每次 幫襯 (at least 6 to 7 times) 經理一定會不停 hard sell. Not just briefly, but stand next to you r...

Given this restaurant is oddly situated in a not so convenient location, their food quality/price is acceptable. Typical congee/noodle type place. Surrounding quite clean, could be slightly crowded at times but OK. Manager's pretty polite but some staff could squeeze out a smile or two. Other than the typical congee / noodle dishes there are also some appetizers and snacks they are quite flavorful. Like marinated wood ear or deep fried beef brisket. Price point are set a...

Quite fresh compared with what I expect from "cheap" Genki.. some of the sushi on the belt don't look too fresh. But taste is ok and price is acceptable. Service is quite good and the place's rather clean an hygienic. Quite packed for lunch. Wish there were a bit more choices on the menu!

Decent portion, and comparatively clean environment given what kinda restaurant it is and its price range! Very affordable and it fills you up. Toppings are quite fresh and the service is on par. Ordered beef (chewy treated ones as expected), lettuce leaves (fresh but portion kinda small) and mushrooms (not really marinated but fresh enough). Chilli oil are fragrant and quite spicy. Will definitely visit again.smile

If you ain't that hungry or want something light, here's the place for you. The portion size is soo pathetic it was actually a bit funny. For fish ball / squid ball they will only give you 2, for mushrooms only 3 very small slices and not marinated well. The soup base is quite clear and have some MSG. Yes the price is low compared with the rest in the area for $21 for 2 toppings, but the topping size is really quite stingy...

Honestly I don't find foods served here are THAT healthy.. but they are indeed a bit less oily than most other similar restaurants. I believe (not entirely sure) their foods are MSG-free and they do taste a bit less heavy handed in terms of seasoning comparatively. Their lunch sets have a variety of dishes available. Mostly rice dishes and some noodle ones. I believe there's vegetarian option too. Their calorie count on the menu is obviously under valued! There's no w...

Been here quite a few times. Their "fish soup base" is not bad and the portion is decent. The dumplings' shrimps are quite small and not very fresh. The ratio of fatty pork and shrimp is a bit off.. but overall it's ok. Ordered the shrimp and vegetables dumplings noodles had 3 big fat dumplings but mainly pork in the filling. The vegetables dish was a whoppy $15 but was of a decent size. Service's just so terrible here that it's sort of funny. All waitresses have this ...

Surprisingly empty during lunch time.. well no wonder since it's quite terrible really.. Lunch sets around $40 to $60. Some rice dishes and 2 noodle dishes and I think one sashimi rice dish. Lunch sets are served with this oily seaweed salad and a miso soup that was below average. The ramen (can switch to udon) was pathetic.. the soup base was milky looking but lacked flavor, the soup bowl looks dirty mad well actually all their eating utensils looked dirty and sticky.... the s...

The food is only OK but it's cheap enough but I give a smiley face for the ambiance of this "old-school" wonton noodle place. I like how the menu's just hand written only in Chinese on the wall, no plastic cards on each table. I also like the "quieter" feel of this wonton place compared to others and most people are just by themselves just enjoying their bowl of noodles. The menu's quite limited just wonton, dumplings, beef or fishball. There are some snacks and vegge dish ...
