同朋友仔食完 lunch... 陪佢過海運搵嘢....攰攰哋想坐低飲杯嘢...
佢就介紹我哋去呢間越南餐廳....
 
本來淨係想飲吓嘢...但係...見d下午茶餐咁抵嘅....
就叫咗嚟試吓....

 
~ 生牛肉河粉 ~

朋友仔佢哋都係叫生牛肉河...不過就要咗春卷....
 
下午茶...好似 lunch set 咁嘅份量...
而且味道亦相當唔錯....加上餐廳環境同個 sea view....
係一間值得再去嘅食肆....
下次一定要試吓佢其他嘅食物先得!

今次去咗 Elements 游蕩...本來想食泰菜...
過經過呢間嘢...好有 resort feel...好似好 relax 咁...就試吓...


BUT...

個男 waiter 嘅態度超差...huffyhuffyhuffy

想問佢嘢...我哋一開口未講到兩個字...
佢就好唔耐煩咁B呢爸啦...跟住行咗去...


至於食物...

D蠔都可以...但好瘦弱呀...sad
而且...始終唔鍾意佢哋將隻蠔起晒殼...sad
 

apple & avocado salad...
fresh but...dressing no good.......
 
朋友嘅雞肉闊條麵...唔好味 & XXXS size 囉...
 
我嘅牛仔肉 with potato fingers....
d肉唔軟腍...其實直情係有d實囉...
 


之前見隔離枱嘅軟殼蟹三文治好似好靚咁...
口多多又 order 咗一份....
點知隻軟殼蟹....超腥呀!
 
而咖啡呀...只...濃.....不香....
 
唯一可讚...只係d奶...識得 keep warm....

真係好少見....
一間食肆...可以樣樣都咁差...
好失望呀~~~mad

Gaddi's 雖然已經好耐歷史...

但它一點也不老...一點也不舊....

只...保存住 grand & elegance...果然係半島...

難得嘅係....

坐在其中...只有舒適 & 閒靜....

偏又一點拘緊的感覺也沒有....一坐下...

waiter 就捧出一大籃自家做嘅麵包給我們選擇...我哋試齊四款...

全部都做到鬆軟香脆...但又唔會有過重牛油嘅厚膩....搽麵包嘅牛油都預備到軟硬適中...



每個 set 都 include 一杯餐酒...但我哋都換咗做鮮果汁...

個 guava juice 好新鮮、好清甜....


朋友JJ 選咗 lady set lunch menu....不過我哋掛住傾偈...忘記咗影低呢個 menu...
所以唔記得D名喇....

JJ 的第一道菜 ~ 凍湯
第二道菜 ~ 煎帶子
 
第三道菜 ~ 釀雞卷
 
JJ 嘅 dessert ~ 冰鎮雪糕
+ 5件完全同口味嘅 tart & cakes....
 
佢個 ladies lunch set 都好豐富噃~~~


我同朋友仔 NN 就叫咗 regular lunch menu....



我同 NN 都order 嘅湯...

Slow-cooked lamb loin in new season's pink garlic puree soup
 
...之前都知 Gaddi's 嘅羊出名做得好...

一試.....真係果然名虛傳....

三片厚切羊鞍肉...嫩滑得...我以為食緊刺身咁...

香軟&羊味羶而鮮...haha....而且...原來D pink garlic做濃湯都可以咁好味...


NN order 嘅 main course :

Pan-fried sea perch with barigoule-style vegetables
 
件海鱸好新鮮好滑呀....後面黃色嗰舊係咪好似 bell pepper 呢?
唔係呀...其實係舊用 saffron 煮嘅薯仔嚟....

我選嘅主菜 :

Roasted Barbary duck breast with confit potatoes and Madeira-thyme jus

不太知這個來自北非 Barbary 的鴨什麼來頭....

只係...烹調得剛剛好....真的做到 medium...
 
都唔知點解而家好多高級餐廳都係...
你有你叫幾成熟....佢有佢鍾意煮到有幾熟....
鴨胸如期望一樣....軟滑....

but....

可能之前嘅羊柳實在太突出喇...
攪到個鴨胸 & 個百里香、馬得拉白葡萄酒汁都無乜驚喜....
唯獨...我反而好欣賞後面嗰舊其貌不揚嘅蜜餞薯仔...
唔知佢用乜嘢做個 coating...甜度同個薯仔好夾...好好味....

NN 嘅 dessert :

Chocolate tart with tonka bean aroma and white coffee ice-cream
 
佢食唔晒...比我哋試咗d....個朱力撻有D失望....
因為好一般 & 口感有D too heavy...

而我嘅就係 :
Cavaillon melon and champagne gazpacho with vanilla ice cream
 
waiter 推介呢種法國蜜瓜極香甜且清新...so....一試....
果然好清甜加埋個香檳涼湯....成為一個好舒服....飲的甜品!!!

而 Petits fours...

有 blueberries cake , strawberry chocolate & passion fruit tart

全部都唔錯....尤其是個 passion fruit tart...

甜度適中 & 滑嘟嘟....hehe....

唯一比較失望就係個 drink 叫咗 Cappuccino....
冇乜泡泡嘅~~~ 味道亦一般~~~~
早知應該叫番佢哋出名嘅 Peninsula tea 啦~~~

雖然有好多人都覺得法國菜好撟扭...

但....
我就好欣賞佢哋嘅烹調理念同堅持...
他們不單主要食材...就連旁邊嘅小配菜、湯汁...都一樣注重...
甚至惜花上一、兩天的預備功夫....味道和賣相亦一絲不苟....
....好嘅法國菜....實在係一種好值得欣賞嘅.....飲食藝術!
