I came here with my friends a few months ago and we were really curious about how this would taste as there are no frozen yogurt stores in Kowloon.

I ordered the original flavour yogurt with mango bits, mochi, and gummy bears.

I wasn't really used to the sour flavour at first but after a while it tasted pretty good! The mochi was especially good.

Overall I enjoyed the yogurt but I wouldn't go all the way to Central just to eat it.

I've been to this cafe many times and the food has been consistently of a high standard, my only criticism is that the menu never changes!
Pumpkin soup: really nice and creamy, and it tastes really good with the bread provided
Chicken burger: it's a pretty large portion and comes with thick potato wedges, and tomato + onion slices to put into the burger. The burger itself is very juicy and the meat is tender.
Seafood spaghetti: Really nice, especially the prawn! It would have been even better if there were more toppings though.
Brownie: Deliciously chocolatey with mango bits. Mango+ chocolate=smile
This cafe is never disappointing (except when all the tables have been booked) and I highly recommend it!

A Meal at Mido Cafe Smile Mar 31, 2010

Because I went here so long ago, I don't really remember any details, except for the fact that the food was very delicious and that the surroundings were very vintage and unique.

I also remember that there was a sign saying ''NO PHOTOGRAPHY PLEASE'' but everyone was sitting at their tables taking photographs, so I guess that rule has been ignored...tongue

I ordered a pork chop rice, milk tea and a ''pineapple bun'' (the literal translation of bor lor bao) and they were really delicious, in particular the pork chop rice. Apparently there is a ''secret recipe'' for the sauce which makes it taste so good- it's very creamy with a hint of tomatoes and onions.

The meal cost around HK$40-50 in total which I guess is an okay price.
