Average lunch Just OK Jun 22, 2011

Categories : Beijing | Chinese Restaurant | Ramen | Chinese Buns

Came here for lunch past Tuesday at 1:30pm. Surprisingly there was lots of seat, we got our own little table for the two of us. We ordered xiao long bao, dandan noodle with the pork but without any spicy, but i think you should get a little spicy, it'll probably taste a whole lot better, and the fried..bun? I'm not sure what the name is exactly, but overall our bill was almost $88hkd. The xiao long bao was not that good, not shanghainese enough, but does beijing even sell xiao long bao?! I thought it was a beijing style or something..not sure $22. The fried bun was good, better than the xiao long bao. Greasey though. The dandan noodle was okay, very peanutty taste..for the soup. Big, so you can share with a friend if you order appetizers. Tried asking the server what people usually order and she had no clue..was just like "depends on you..." Thanks, no help! Not a bad price...would return if I happen to be craving some dandan noodles.

Worst breakfast buffet ever! Cries Jun 15, 2011

Categories : International | Hotel Restaurant | Buffet

PLEASE, if you have to pay for this, take your money elsewhere. It is not worth $55 to eat a breakfast buffet where there is barely anything, and the only people who go are people staying at this hotel with the free meal tickets. Everything seems to be running out, the crossiant was soggy, the shu mai was gross. The only thing good? The fresh milk and orange juice. The rice noodle was okay too. It sucked and I'll never pay to eat this, go down the street and pay $20 for a bowl of noodles or something. If you're a guest here, by all means go if it's free, otherwise, PASS! If you like quantity over quality, this may be your cup of tea.

They barely even came to clear the plates, it's not even a big place. 3 tables of buffet...one is just drinks.

I think there was a line outside..but we went in to see how long the wait was and was seated at the bar/converter belt right away. We were a party of two..ordered off the menu, they forgot one dish..my beef sushi was bad, i picked it up to get some soysauce and the whole thing fell apart in my soy sauce plate!!! The handrolls were good, everything else...not as impressive. Customer service was nice..alway someone to pour u tea...and they thought it was amusing that were spoke english..lol

expensive like all sushis...

There's a lot of choices..too bad they are in chinese... some had pics, so that was good. The waiters seem busy..lots of people around 9pm. I ordered the green tea shaved ice and my friend got the mango shaved ice. The mango one was much better. My green tea one..tasted off...gross after a while. Both $39 each. Went to pay, and no one at the register... shocked Then they came after.

Categories : Hong Kong Style | Tea Restaurant

We sat upstairs, came here a year ago, came back again. People smoke upstairs..Soup is free, and you go get it yourself. We get a meal set, well 3, so each came with a drink, ordered hot milk tea and cold milk tea. My rice noodle was very good, I liked it alot, the beef rice plate was awful..and the egg/seafood rice plate was okay...very saucy with..no taste unfortunately. They have a restroom and service is pretty fast. Big portions for about 32$
