Haven't shared any comments for ages but the dining experience herein Stanley Deli was seriously impressive!

Ordered the Xmas menu in advance and enjoyed 15% off with prior deposit .. FAIR

When we first entered the restaurant, we could hardly relate the place with 'French Restaurant/ Fine Dining'. It's more appropriate to call it a 'better-class' local cafe. Bun/ water were all served in advance which made them not 'fresh'! Don't mean to discriminate anyone, but the waiters are like those in 'HK cafe', in not too decent/ tidy dress code. Appreciated the welcome Xmas drinks yet they were tasted strangely, similar to the medicine.

Then, we could hear the chef / waiters shouting at each other inside the kitchen clearly. Weird!

After taking the order, the scallop arrived in 3 mins - not tailor made!

Followed by the foie gras with red wine pear, served in a COLD plate! The foie gras was not to standard, could not even classify whether it's the quality of the ingredient or the cook technique caused the problem. After tasting the pear, we suspected it was placed in fridge for sometime with the same plate, thus both the plate and pear were cold.

Lobster Bisque.. so-so, but overall the 'best' course. It's hot enough anyway. After the first 3 courses, we had no expectation to the main indeed!

Surf n turf (prawn and steak) ... apparently the prawn was not fresh enough that it's not juicy at all. Steak was not freshly grilled as it's warm / room temperature. First time tasting warm steak in so called French Restaurant.

Dessert was the worst, my mate commented the jelly-like pudding tasted like a cleansing soap. How bad!

That's all for Xmas even dinner and it's AWFUL! Will never visit this place anymore and don't recommend to anyone!

今晚行完街, 特登去搵呢間西班牙餐廳, 基本上係一間bar...waitress比一般0既熱情有禮, 所以份外好mood!
我同男朋友各叫一杯紅白酒,好抵好大杯!之後叫咗1st round:

1. 羊腩 --好juicy好腍又唔肥, 個茄醬點麵包超正!
2. 蒜片蝦--單睇d蝦0既紋已經知道佢好新鮮, 食落當然無得彈啦~(有d滔滔口吻tim~)...果真鮮甜到黏著喉嚨吊
3. '咸魚'+tomato toast --呢個賣相就好好喇, 不過我唔好咸魚
4. 火腿-- 都係值回票價的選擇

因為以上各碟都好好食, 所以再黎多round,cocktail, redwine~~
1. 蒜片蝦--真係食過返尋味架
2. tomato meat ball - 又一好juicy的meatball, 可能又係茄啦... 所以覺得特別好食.即使單食個meat ball, 都一d都唔乾...

yummy yummy~~

可能係happy hour時刻, 計埋4杯酒都係300幾, 超抵食

本身從來都唔鐘此食煎炸0野, 但男朋友仔講到話咁吸引, 所以陪佢試0下.menu上基乎全部印係吉列0野, 只草草叫0左刺身,豬扒,蝦同帶子定食.過0左一陣, 有人送來兩個大碗同兩枝棒, 內裡盛著芝麻,有得食又有待玩, 原來係用來自己混醬之用, 磨完芝麻後加入醬料就掂.先上了刺身, 賣相可以,並不特別, 但d刺身就好新鮮,幾有咬口.之後一大盤吉列就0黎喇.好似真係好金黃可口咁,食落真係一0的都唔油唔膩,好脆好鮮.我就最好個豬扒點芥醬.除了吉列之後, 佢0地無限量添加0既椰菜絲加埋個酸酸0地0既汁真係令我食多幾啖飯呀.好好味!連個麵鼓湯都幾足料入味.

今日打算同男朋友仔去元朗試0下唔同0既0野, 聽聞有間好有水準0既意大利餐廳, 不過, 有d山卡啦,既然有咁0既興緻, 就做足功課, 查定地圖路線圖出發. 講真, 都幾長途跋涉-轉幾程車先到. 去到門口, 真係有d卻步,因為個門面實在太似黑店了, 對大門又唔係好穩固咁. 最後都博一博. 店內光線比較暗淡, 坐落後就仔細點了幾個菜.0係starter未0黎之前上咗兩個熱騰騰的麵包.嘩~!真係好新鮮好熱好香脆(當時都唔係好肚餓),所以好快就清咗.
第一道係干牛肉片, 有五片.味道唔錯,略咸.但夾埋生洋蔥就啊0岩0岩好.
第二道好快跟住-大蘑菇伴蝦, d蝦有d似蝦米, 但又有中蝦咁大隻, 都幾特別.蘑菇就好鮮好有口感.
第三道本來係香草大蝦, 但個waiter落單時攬錯為芒果大蝦沙津.結果食咗三個starter.呢個一般好食, 但因為唔係太好沙津醬, 所以沒有清到.
主菜要了煎鵝肝牛仔柳.份量最少0既一碟.先試個鵝肝-好香好肥美, 只是有d根. 牛仔柳係rare.起初都有d擔心僧唔會太熟, 皆因落單時沒有提過. 一切落去就放心晒, 仲好開心, 真係好juicy好fresh.伴菜0既炸薯角一點都唔馬夫,十分香口.
仲有, order了兩杯紅酒, 雖然個杯就似乎細咗d, 但酒卻盛得幾乎全滿
雖然已經很飽, 但仍想試埋dessert.叫咗一個未食過0既- 沙巴翁-有d蛋同糖咁啦.(唔太岩口味)...飲埋杯cuppacino就真係好滿足喇!!!

真係好有水準, 好抵食. 下次約多幾個朋友可以試羊架...

大年初一同男朋友睇完戲, 想食日本0野, 見海港城有間新開, 裝修得幾優雅0既餐廳, 所以入去試0下.入面氣氛唔錯, 檯與檯之間尚算寬敞.我0地本身想先叫酒, 只可惜佢0地未有酒牌, 唯有齋食啦.
1. 特上刺身-- 雖然來得真係太慢, 但等得耐都抵0既. 因為真係好肥美, 好新鮮, 好有質感.值得一試.
2. 沙拉-- 不過不失
3. 燒羊架-- 一般言而
4. 牛肉鍋-- 又係要等好耐.先講個湯, 清甜可口, 我就特別好那津白和小裳菜, 菜吸收晒牛肉湯味, 好正. 男朋友就主力食晒d牛, 佢話如果生d 會好食d. 基本上, 我唔係好食全熟0既牛, 所以都唔係好好昵個牛.
5. 其他小食...都冇乜印象...
