Arrived at 7-ish, 人不多, 只有2枱客人, 揀了門口位座, 因為覺得裡面比較熱, 而且個天不是太大霧, 見到清馬大橋夜景, 不錯!

mini half half ....one side is pepperoni and cheese, another side is ham and mushroom, portion is worthy with the price of $88, and the quality is better than pizza hut, cpk..... similar standard to pizza express

beef tenderloin with mini salad and spaghetti....salad is fresh, the homemade french style vinaigrette can bring your appetite, spaghetti is little bite oily for me......the beef tenderloin, hmmm.....cooking skill is perfect! we ordered medium, it is brown, crisp outside and juicy, tender inside, however, I couldn't taste the "BEEF"...but just black pepper

btw, they didn't serve tap water, but distilled water (cool 清涼), because the owner told us the tap water with alot of mineral...and he needs to clean the filter every 3 months. And thank you the owner for the rose!

and by the time we leave, ppl need queue for a table

I read alot of bad comments about SML, but still saw many people dine in there. Well, why not give it a try?!

It was around 12:30pm, the restaurant is half empty, we just walk in and no need to reservation. We ordered :

toast with shrimp paste and black truffle...S....has 3 little pieces, they looks oily, and taste greasy
seafood linguine in tomato sauce...M...portion is fair enough, the seafood included shrimp, calamari and clam, they are quite fresh, the tomato sauce is good also, just the pasta is little bite over cooked... too soft
lamb kebab .... S.....is one big piece, not like the regular kebab you eat from other restaurant, it is minced lamb fried or grilled with alot of herbs, it's spicy as well
butterscotch cream puff ......S.....a tiny piece....it is delicious with fresh cream and butterscotch sauce
chocolate brownie .....S....one bite size also, but the brownie is not firm though, you cannot the fork to pick it up
rose ....100ml.....cannot ask for too much, it is just house wine
coffee ......not bad....

I don't feel the food is that bad, so I think I will come back again.

It is someone's birthday in my family, she doesn't want to have a big celebration this year. So I didn't order a cake, just grab one on the way home.

Coz it is a birthday function, I won't choose any angel cake, devil cake, plain cheese cake, needs to buy some "happy cake", which means typical fruit basket with colorful fruit on the top

The cake is fresh and soft, the fruit is just ready to eat, kiwi not too hard, mango is sweet, strawberry is sweet......overall, it is a cake we like and it is worth more than what we paid.

went to lunch with a old friend....looked at the menu
expected the food will be a little bit decent with the price
I mean ....compare to what I got, it's just not worth
I rather go to 六國 Le Menu or momo cafe to have a lunch buffet
the teriyaki chicken is not good, the meat still has the frozen smell
the sashimi is not fresh at all.....

Went to the restaurant @ 20:20, still need to queue up...the fourth table....then went to shop in Jusco for a while first.
Back to the restaurant @ 21:10, no more people stand outside, that's mean we can go in directly , ordered chicken ceasar salad, hot wings, lemon squash, and another cocktail...can't remember the long name, even the server don't know how to pronounce it...gwzeeee....
the salad, we chose ranch for the dressing, I think next time we should have something light to go with it, like vinaigrette .......
the wings.....salty....dip with the sauce.....more salty....hahhaa....that's all I can say

never had good experience with upstairs cafe till this time
it's a friends gathering party, I believer it is special order menu
the food is pretty good, the best is the environment is comfortable for friends chit chat, not a noisy place that we need to shout
