Went to Yo Mama in IFC with a friend for some frozen yogurt.

I ordered a medium green tea yogurt with mochi and my friend ordered a large plain yogurt with lucky charms. Both were delicious.

The shopkeepers were so nice that we ignored the fact that the sitting space was so limited.

Yo Mama is my new favourite place for healthy dessert!

I love 焗西米布甸. It's one of my favourite desserts. But sadly, most places fail to produce a nice and delicious one. But 蓮園 did a pretty good job of it.

Although I thought the lotus paste in the middle of the pudding was a bit too runny, the overall taste was good.

Have heard a lot about Awfully Chocolate from magazines and friends, but never had gotten around to trying it. Finally tried the rum and cherry chocolate cake last week.

It was delicious. Not as creamy as I would have expected, but it is also a lot lighter I would have expected for a chocolate cake. Usually I would be stuffed after one piece of chocolate cake, but I managed to eat two pieces this time. Also, I think it would have tasted better if the rum taste was stronger.

But overall, mmmmmmmm....

Great view, excellent food, friendly staff- This was one of the best new years dining experiences I've had.

Lemon iced souffle, with cassis patterns, sable cookies & caramelized orange slices, served over lemon curd

A very satisfying meal, I will be back soon.

Initially went to 新九記 for some nice noodles and congee only to find out that they were closed. So headed over to 皇府.

Ordered 北菇滑雞粥. It was better than I expected, as they had actual chicken inside, rather than the frozen chicken fillets in most congees. The mushrooms were tender and juicy.

Overall, it was good, but nothing special. Although I would personally prefer 新九記, 皇府 is a pretty good alternative.
