on the 22 of apr, i made a reservation for two at 20:30 on 23 apr, a lady took my call and help me made a booking. i arrived on the following day and the guy told me that i was not on the reservation list and made me wait at the bar for 15 mins and i left the restaurant due to his poor handling skills

Iv been to the Burger Room twice - my first time was on the 20th of March 2010 and yesterday was my second time.

First Impression on my first visit, the restaurant was rather small but the seats were nice and comfortable.

I dun remember if its an open kitchen or not but there is a really strong burger or meaty smell that filled out the whole restaurant.

There werent alot of choices for the burgers on the menu and i wasnt expecting the price to be $60 to $90 for just a single burger. The price was not compared with McDonalds or Burger King. I was comparing to the similar competitor, Shake em burger.

I ordered the Double Decker and the Portobello Cheese Burger. The double decker was delicious and meaty but pricey, on the other hand, the portobello cheese burger was alright but the mushroom was rather small and over-cooked.
After leaving the restaurant, my jacket smelled like a piece of meat or a burger.

first of all, i sat down and asked for cold water....the waiter couldnt hear me so i spoke louder for a cup of cold water (i ordered cold water coz it was humid in the restaurant)
then the waiter came back with a cup of boiling water.......wtf??
i went there for the $198 dinner set and the food was warm, not hot at all......
the 198 meal consists of the mushroom soup for two, bread and butter, salad, mash potato with clams, large prawn in angel hair with tomato sauce, spare ribs.

mushroom soup - its campbell canned soup with extra muchrooms and alot of salt

bread and butter - freakin' thin piece of bread where i can see my friend by looking through the bread and the butter was really hard........

salad - consist of mash potato (again =..=) with some crap meat, i mean crab meat with tons of crab shell.....it was actually sweet which was not good at all

mash potato - it was okay but the clams were like black and disgusting

large prawn with angel hair - it was warm, nearly cold....it came out like it was in a hurry and added some left overs from the previous customer's plate

spare ribs - cold and hard....in the sample meal shown at the it was huge, with fries at the bottom but my spare ribs was small, cold and there was no fries but ANOTHER MASH POTATO!!!!!

i ordered those special drinks and the outcome was different than the one showed in the pic......the ice cream and cream were in the drink and they were not using the same cups showed in the menu........
