I need to write this just to give this place a fair comment. The shop itself is nicely decorated and rather cosy (i.e. small). Yet, the food were surprisingly fresh and delicious, unlike what the most recent comments mentioned.

The photos taken with my poor phone were not great, but the food we tried were all very nice. We had the squid ink tempura, beef salad, chicken skewers, lamb rack, tofu, and lots more.

I would say you must try the lamb rack and the scallops. Absolute heaven.

The decoration was very elegant and very french indeed. Very spacious and lots of pretty flowers everywhere. You already feel very romantic once you walk inside. We booked early and we got the sofa seat.

They had the a la carte menu and two special menu which included lots of food. I was not feeling too well and so I ordered the a la carte instead. But first, we started with the very warm and fresh bread.

Then we were offered these little starters and I cannot remember what they were, except the middle one, which was a warm ginger soup kind of thing, which I did not like.

My apetizer was asparagus, which was cold (not sure if it was meant to be), but still very well done and yummy.

My main course was the Zita pasta with black truffles, covered with some foam which I forgot what it was. It was alright, very filling and I could not finish it.

I drove passed this place many times and I thought it was a cake shop, until I heard they have all day breakfast.

Arrived at 10:30 am on a Sunday and there were still seats left. The empty seats were soon taken within 5 minutes.

The price seems cheap. The all-day breakfast was only $60. I had toast plus sunny side ups plus sausages.

It was acceptable. I would not say it was bad, but it was not good either. Everything was already cold when it came out. I wondered why... and how? The food came pretty quickly once I ordered, so it must have been freshly made, how could it be cold?? Unless it was pre-prepared.....

The coffee was alright.

I saw this cafe when I was sitting on a bus that drove passed. It looked interested. Design Library.

Came up on a saturday afternoon and it looked interesting. It looked more like a home office which I would love to be in. The so-called cafe only offered coffee and tea, and there were only a few sofas available.

The rest contained a large work desk which I would love to have at home. Lots of magazines and photography books available for sale. Plus, there were also clothing.

The coffee itself was acceptable.

If the owner really wants this place to last, they could start with the coffee.

Whilst we were waiting, we had a tomato salad

Then, the real dinner started. First came this fish whose name I forgot, but it was really fresh and chewy. We were given different sauces to eat with, very sophisticated.

Next came another fish that was cut up in a chunk as opposed to the first one that was in slices

and sushi (and I need to say the egg was meticulously done)

and veggies tempura

We actually ate even more, but my phone's poor camera can hardly show you how delicious the food was.

Last, we had this sticky and chewy dessert, which I think, was the only dish that was ordinary.
