星期二,在未與男友會合前,行經尖東,看到美味的煎釀多寶,口痕發作,加上有點肚餓,便走近前看看有甚麼地道小食。食物種類不算多,當中的泰式串燒叉燒卻非常吸引,要了一串及一串雞軟骨。串燒叉燒唔夠熱,但卻是放在燒爐上的,燒得都不太香口,醬汁就 ok,有少少似沙爹,叉燒好大份,肥瘦參半,肉質夠腍,若能燒香口一點便最好。至於雞軟骨就超級唔掂,因為是放落炸爐走油不是燒,成口油,雞軟骨又未溶雪溶得透,勁大朕雪藏味。

上星期二又是落吧的日子,先到了這間充滿英式風情的 stag head,要了 old speckled hen 和 kilkenny,前者侍應說沒有貨,問我要不要改飲 spitfire,味道 跟 old speckled hen 是一樣的,我沒有異議。來到時,發現原來已在某酒吧試過這隻樽裝啤,只是我認為 old speckled hen 味冇咁濃和苦澀,這款 spitfire 甚至可以用「啃」來形容。這裡氣氛不錯,又可以自己點播歌曲,可惜沒有佐酒小吃,總欠了一點。

估不到士別七日,這間新甜品店已人氣爆燈,周末周日來至少要等上半小時。某閒日的晚上,與男人來這裡吃那個非常特別的綿花冰。發覺點叫的模式有了新意,客人可以單點綿花冰,或加錢配搭生果。是夜要了咖啡味底的綿花冰配愛玉凍和椰果配朱古力醬及七彩糖針,另多要了芝麻糊加芝麻湯丸。個人覺得咖啡味的綿花冰比朱古力味更好食,因咖啡味極香濃,不過愛玉凍和椰果則與綿花冰唔係太夾,下次還是轉回生果。芝麻糊水準極之飄忽,時好時壞,有時太甜、有時芝麻味又不香濃;但芝麻湯丸超正,糯米皮煙煙韌韧的,芝麻餡勁多,芝麻又香,掂!

多年來,都不會在情人節正日到餐廳浪漫一下,因為實在想不通為何這天的食物價格,會突然暴漲。這晚回到旺角,心血來潮想食家鄉雞,便到這間新開張的旺角分店。舖面比其他的分店為細,甚至覺得這間分店應該主丁外賣。所以人手嚴重不足,滿枱都是未收拾的食物盤。二人要了兩件家鄉雞、磨菇飯、雜菜沙律、香辣雞腿包、巴辣香雞翼和格格薯塊。家鄉雞感覺好像冇以前咁重香料味,雞肉亦冇咁嚡口,難道是因為我好耐未食過?磨菇飯今次啲醬汁少了許多,吃到一半已經要吃白飯;雜菜沙律真的非常抵吃,$6 有生菜、紫椰菜絲、百香果粒、菠蘿粒等,吃完油膩的炸物,用來清清油腸胃都好。

情人節下午,約了男友在灣仔,原本諗住行上山頂,怎知天陰陰,仲不時有雨粉輕飄,故轉往這間數次過門也不得而入的咖喱店。要了咖偖扒飯和乾炒牛河,前者汁與飯菜分開上,咖喱香是香,但總覺得辣的勁度不夠,內裡的薯仔太粉,而且毫不入味,奇怪。但豬扒真係炸得好好食,如果淨點豬扒要 $22 一塊我都覺得有所值。乾炒牛河鑊氣夠,唔太油膩,仲有超多芽菜、韮菜,但河粉略嫌少一點,吃到最後只有牛肉和配菜。
