Decided to try something different for Mother's Day lunch as well as for convenience, thus booked Pivo with Openrice with the Asiamiles awarded.  The décor is decent with some bar tables and dining tables.  I arrived early before noon and was told to come back at noon, though it was about 11:45am and the door was open.  Anyway, the service was good after we finally got in.  They had lunch sets ranging from about $128 to $158.   The a la carte menu was more interesting.  I still ordered a lunch set with Steak, plus the Goulash soup in bread, snack platter.  The steak was cooked to medium, exactly as requested.  The chips that goes along with it was fried to what I would consider as perfection.  The goulash soup was nice, though the bread was a bit disappointing being very chewy and not as freshly soft baked as I wished.  The snack platter had spiced chicken wing, chilled prawns and potato croquettes.  All were delicious.  The dessert berry mousse was very mediocre.  However, I would say this is a restaurant I would come back at night with drinks and snack. 

Booked dinner here for the proximity to hotel since we stayed at Galaxy. For a Michelim restaurant, not much service as we are given the menu after sitting down and not offered any drinks. I asked for a quiet table at reservation but was given a table near the entrance. Anyhow, the bread as mentioned in many reviews was up to expectation be8ng fresh n crispy crust. The chili sauce was a great accompaniment n special to the bread. The Javanese chicken was delicious with chicken cooked just right n creamy sauce. The roasted sucklimg pig was disappointing with crispy skin towards the chewy side. The sausage mash is really testing your openness to food. The bbq octopus had nothing I can brag about except it is cooked and soft. taste was blend. Anyway, the good thing is that it is within the Galaxy complex and convenient.

Had lunch at Amaroni's of Festival Walk and saw the promotional card for An-tico. Decided to try it since it is new. Ordered a pepperoni pizza, crab meat avocado and a minestrone soup for two. I was asked if I wanted to order more because I ordered too little. I was a bit shocked the two of us were females and I thought it was quite enough for lunch and in fact we could not finish the pizza.

The avocado with crab meat came with a tomato-based sauce. The crab meat was fresh and sweet. And the combination was ok though nothing you would brag about. The minestrone soup was also ok.

Pizza took about 30 minutes but considering it being made to order, this is acceptable. The base was slightly chewier than I would like and by the second piece, the pepperoni started to feel a bit too salty. The whole pizza was only made of pepperoni and cheese. Certainly you get what you asked for but I think it would have been nice to have something on the pizza like mushroom just to taper down the saltiness of the pizza.
