As I saw lots of people waiting outside Tim's Kitchen although the the lunch set generally costs $48 each, I thought their food is really nice.

I ordered a set of sliced chicken with cross cut fries. The set comes with a hk style westen soup, main course, a drink and a dessert (cheesecake/tiramisu).
The chicken taste quite good and is tender but the portion is small. Fries is surprising nice, very crispy but not too oily.

The soup is fair. I ordered ovaltine and tiramisu.
Ovaltine is tasteless this is very unacceptable as it does not need any skill to do so. I did not drink it after tasting.
The tiramisu is of jelly kind and does not have any cheese flavour so I do not like it at all.

The enviornment inside is noisy and dirty and the decor is old.
I ordered beef brisket with rice noodle and extra veggies.

Served quick and the food is still hot. The beef brisket is tough and chewy. I do not want to finish all the brisket for the first time.
Besides, the amount of the extra veggies is small.

For $32 in such the environment and food,It is not worth it at all.

Mr.A suggested to go to this japanese restaurant as he thought that this restaurant has better service and food near his office. He booked the table so we did not have to wait during lunchtime.

He suggested me to order grilled Kyoto cod fish set. It costs around $80-90 for that set and I found it quite expensive. However, I did not expect much.

The set includes a very simple Japanese vegetable salad, soup, main course and a dessert.

The cod fish takes time to grill so I had to wait for like 10 mins. It was served warm.
The fish was fatty so the fish oil smells nice. It is well grilled and the sauce is very nice as well, not too salty nor sweet.
Howver the price is quite expensive according to the size of the fish. It was just 2/3 the size of a dollar note.

I went to this shop on the first day of my summer job.
Of course I found this noodle shop on openrice and found that it is quite famous for their beef cake.

I ordered beef cake with rice noodles and a plate of veggies.
Their food was served very quick but you do not have to rush to finish it like the other noodle shops.
However, the customers next to you just made you to do so.
Anyway, the bowl of noodle is hot and the beef cake is surprising tasty. The texture is very nice since they didnt put a lot of flour in order to stick the meat together like the others do.
There are several beef cakes in a bowl so it is quite enough indeed.

But the broth is too simple so eating the rice noodle alone is pretty boring.

I came here for their fish ball as recommended by my parents.
I ordered a fish ball with rice noodle and a plate of veggies.
Veggies are a bit oily , i should have asked them to "走油"

As the ordinry traditional noodle shop, they serve food quickly.
My fish ball noodle is in large portion with different shape of fish ball
They are very 彈 and fishy as well.
Apart from fish ball, lots of people ordered their beef brisket too so I may later come back to try it!!
