We ordered a Opera. And it was indescribably awful.
Charging us $3X, we expected the cake to be heavenly and delectable.
The Opera looks quite nice, but the taste was second-rate.
Before I savoured the cake, I supposed the cake to have layers of tastes, but I was COMPLETELY wrong.
The cake was actually a coffee cake. Mediocre!
You can only taste coffee in this cake, but no wine, no chocolate, no crispy layers which Opera supposed to have.

I don't know the quality of other LGB's cakes. But judging by the Opera that I tried, I will never visit this cake shop again.

DON'T try the OPERA!

I used Groupon for the dinner. Quite impressive. I didn't expect the quality of the food was that good.
The Carbonara was scrumptious.
The salmon was nice, very fresh and not over-cooked.
The brownie was too sweet for me; and the cheesecake was not cold enough and the taste was a bit strange.
The salmon salad was all right as well, nothing really special about it.
The pizza was, again, above average.

The environment was nice and the location is easy to find.
The service was not impressive at all. The waitress was emotionless, not polite enough, no smile. Though it was still acceptable, but if her could be more passionate, the overall experience will be greatly enhanced.

Centrally-located, which is fabulous.
The seats are big in size and pretty comfortable.
The environment is clean and cozy

The staff, in general, is all right. Some are smart and polite; whereas, some are a bit slow.

Well, for the food:
the Cold Udon is the best among all the dishes that we have ordered. It tastes real good; a nice dish on a stifling hot day. The soup for the cold udon is yummy. and i highly recommend this dish.
The Ramen is pretty good. But not as good as 一風堂 or duan wong. the soup is fine but the noodle is not as impressive as those at aforementioned.
For the other 2 dishes, fried vegetable and dumplings. they are all right. not very good or bad. They are all reasonably-priced.

Overall: 8/10

I ordered a waffle with chocolate+strawberry ice-cream. it costs 75.
though it's a bit over-priced, it was GREAT.
the waffle tasted very good with companion of the chocolate ice-cream. one hot one cold and they just matched perfectly.
the chocolate sauce and honey provided made the waffle extremely delectable. well, my taste bud begged me for more of that.
the environment is good, though the place is a bit small. the location is very good; easy to find.
the staff is so-so, they are quite dumb honestly

i was quite surprised by its popularity on openrice. that's why i decided to go there to see why it had so many positive ratings.

well, the restaurant is a mecca for OLs and families. even though i arrived after lunch hour, the place was packed with countless people.
this was the first time i visited this restaurant after its renovation. and well, i was satisfied. the food quality was up to scratch and the prices were amazingly low. the environment is good as well, though the place was unbelievably crowded. well, if u want a cozy and plush dining place, this one doesnt suit u; but if u want to fill ur stomach without paying a lot of $$, this place will be ur cup of tea.

well well well. for food. i ordered swedish meat balls, salmon spaghetti and fried chicken wings.
for meat balls, they were very swedish== and savoury. it was good but not very good. but i quite appreciate that the meat juice was there.
the spaghetti was great. It costs only 29 but the quality is well above 29. the sauce is yummy and the salmon is good, though a bit over well done.
the chicken wings were fine... but i wont recommend that. it was too salty and ...erm... unhealthy

i also ate a chocolate brownie... which was ... not good. too sweet for me.
