We ordered the $500 set which has 6 courses.  4 appetizers, 1 main, 1 dessert. Were impressed with the creativitiy and artistry of the food mix in every dish. They change menu, they said, every month. **Appetizers: 1. Hamachi--tastily sweet, mixed with wasabi-lemon green icee  --good compliment of each other.  good for summer time 2. Salmon--salad with apple vinegar, with salmon -- good--the mix brings out the aroma of the salmon 3. mc Soda -- foamed, for...

This is our first time at the Catalunya, so we got smarter because of our past experiences.  We started by ordering 2 tapas first to decide whether we want more.  This is because the menu is rather "restrictive".  Most items are for 2-3 people and around $400+ to $800$.  So we, a couple, only two people don't really have much choice for variety since we are not big eaters.  Suckling Pig (their supposed famous dish) -- about $100+ There are 2 pie...

Visited before and liked the Kurobuto Pork Chop a lot- tender, juice, meaty flavor--, but tonight, it was truly disappointing. 1. the appetizer - shrimp with herb oil... only one piece cut in 2 halves; not much taste, bit overcooked so chewy; only tasted herb oil; a few pieces of tomatoe and veggie. This "would-be $188" dish is such a ripoff! Lucky we ordered as part of the set...still think it's overpriced. 2. seafood soup- pretty watery, not the creamy type, a f...

This is a pricey restaurant. Appetizer prices range $100+. Main course prices range $300+. So we did have some expectations. We specially reserved this for our Anniversary. Among all things, first, their services are good. We like variety, and we don't eat a lot; so we ordered 3 appetizers and 1 main dish. As a result, we found all 4 items unsatisfactory/ nerve-stinging. The menu was misleading and the food were oddly tasted. The for items are: 1. ...

This is another branch of a Michelin one star Dim Sum restaurant/fast food in Mongkok. Every dish's price is in teens. Hard to find such bargain in Central. Except that you need to wait/ or shop a while before you have a seat. Many dishes are in good quality. (Can refer to the photos in other Chinese reveiws.) The best if you go in party of 3 because most dishes have 3 pieces. There is English translation for every item. All dim sum are freshly cooked at t...

Overpriced (due to poor quality of food and services) 1. Tom Yum Soup-- with only a few pieces of half mushroom and one shrimp. Though the shrimp was rather big-size, it's not fresh and its texture felt like mash potato when we chewed it. The soup had only the taste of sourness, pretty shallow and unfulfilling. 2. Pad Thai -- Taste good. A bit soggy. There were 4 shrimps and they were fresh and crunchy. The portion was too small. There's only approx. one r...

Came to Club Qing for more than 8 times. Both Andy (chef) and the waitress/receptionist (Candy) have been very helpful and supportive. They are willing to customize some dishes based on my guests' preferences. All my guests were very impressed with the food quality and creativity, restaurant ambience, and the tea serving. I went to many other "private kitchen", and I have to say that this is one of the better one with consistent quality. Well done.

this restaurant was way over-rated. Took my father-in-law here, and it was one of the most disappointing meals we had as compared to other private-kitchen or speakeasies. The so-called oven-baked chicken is worst than the "Costco" Rotisserie chicken we had in US. The suckling pig was pretty bad without taste and like chewing on rubber. The rest of the dishes are very basic, which definitely does not deserve the rating and the price we paid.
