餐廳環境浪漫,燈光雖然昏暗但餐牌有LED燈在背面,所以可以好清楚睇餐牌!呢個設計幾好!我們預約了窗口位置,可以望到少少海景。餐廳中間有一個小小的自助沙律吧,若有興趣可以一試。服務非常到位,很殷勤而且細心。 我們很快便決定了要點的菜,老公點了New York Strip ($760) 14oz 很厚很大塊!我本來想點三文魚, 要medium well,但餐廳經理說他們的三文魚適合medium rare, for pregnant woman要well done的話,點sea bass全熟都唔會鞋口。結果要了個 Chilean Sea Bass ($490) 另外再叫了個 creamed spinach ($95) 及一支1L的San Pellegrino sparkling water ($98)~ 侍應一直都忙著送來面包籃,另外還有牛油及辣蕃茄醬用來點洋蔥圈。牛油很香,辣蕃茄醬也很美味!另外還贈送了一杯很香的洋蔥湯!之後端來一個長長的鹽架,裝有約十款來自不同產地的海鹽及詳細解釋每種鹽所適合配搭的肉類。講解完畢後又到另一位侍應過來介紹用來切牛扒的刀,有約八款選擇,其產地和特性各有不同。到呈上主菜後,又有侍應過來詢問需要配搭的mustard,都有成十二款可供選擇!  花多眼亂之下選了較辣的2種及一款較淡味的,已忘記產地,而且味道都差不多~ 個人較喜歡只加海鹽  說回牛扒,我們要了個 medium的new york strip都的確沒有燒得過火, grill得都ok, 雖然再grill多d會更好! 都算tender不鞋口,肉味未至於好突出但都經已很不錯!不過14oz真係唔係一般人可以獨自消滅!我自己的鱸魚望落去雖然不大,但都幾飽肚。肉汁仍然保留得到,洒上檸檬汁後更添鮮味,但就需要自己再加鹽才夠味  之後個spinach已經吃不下,並不是唔好食但係都幾creamy幾”漏“! 最後在超飽的情況下我們爭扎了很久才決定要一個明知吃不完的signature chocolate fondant! 雖然好飽但食甜品從來都不是用同一個胃,所以豁了出去~ 端上來時真的很大,成個一磅蛋糕咁大!但係切落去都仲可以咁流心,功夫真的到家!如果可以多一球雪糕就更更更正喇  最後我們只可以消滅三分一個,細心的侍應過來問要不要包起take away,這個當然是求之不得!而翌日在家中用焗爐焗熱後,加上 vanilla ice-cream 都仍然可以保持風味!very good

之前食過佐敦果間都ok, 所以早在一星期前已在openrice訂枱, 還贈送餐前小食一碟(海蜇)及糖水。環境一般, 都幾full同埋很多人order啫啫煲, 所以有少少煙霧瀰漫的感覺。服務是ok的, 不會過份殷勤或欠奉。 例牌燒乳豬 ($138) 個皮好脆, 仲暖的! 豬肉好入味而且係半肥瘦, 好味  3隻大的瀨尿蝦, 共重1斤10兩, 每兩$40 為計都算貴, 索價$1,200! 不過真係好好味!  肉質鮮味, 仲好juicy! 唔會炸到好乾, 同埋好夠味~ 又唔會覺得好熱氣, 因為有d餐廳會放好多炸左既蒜茸晌面! 啫啫生菜煲 ($88) 呢個不過不失啦, 有很濃的蝦醬味。雖然略嫌燶左d 同埋好少菜, 不過都幾惹味~ 碧綠炒龍脷球 ($248) 正常味道, 沒特別驚喜。西蘭花不會太硬, 剛好~ 龍脷球都ok, 只係有少少煮過火, 肉有些少"鞋"  香橙骨 ($78) 本來叫了個貴妃雞但竟然售罄! 於是選另一個無咁熱氣既~ 呢個都不錯, 個骨唔會炸得好乾, 入面仲保留有少少肉汁~ 香橙味重但不會太酸, 都幾好! 最後送的紅荳沙(還可以選喳咋), 都幾有陳皮味同埋起晒沙的, 都ok~ Recommended Dish(es):

我們二人叫了個 3-course lunch ($500), 全個lunch整體感覺很好: 服務細心不在話下, 而且到位, 完全沒有壓迫感! 上菜時間剛好, 份量亦如是。 餐前送了2條garlic bread, 牛油有2種, orginal and salted, 很香牛油味, 面包外脆內軟, 但因為怕之後會飽, 所以沒有多吃! 頭盤選了以下2款。野菌湯很香, 但此頭盤較為清淡。帶子很新鮮, 配以柚子汁的微酸, 剛好帶出帶子的鮮味, 絶對可以增加食慾! 但魚子醬、青蘋果及青瓜粒就實在切得太細, 幾乎感覺不到其味道! Appitizers: wild mushroom consomme, tonka Bean Scent, mini cream cheese burger 薰草豆野菌清湯配芝士漢堡包 Scallop Carpaccio, Avruga Caviar, Green apple and cucumber in Yuzi sauce 香醃帶子薄片伴特級魚子醬、青蘋果青瓜配日本柚子汁  主菜選了2個魚: 賣相討好, 鱸魚煎得剛好, 有少少脆口但又不會過火~ 酥皮焗鱈魚茸其實是有點像在吃馬介休  但我較喜歡這種酥皮的食物, 所以會比個笑面 Main course: Sea Bream Fillet, Violon Zucchini and Black olives in basil infusion 香煎鱸魚柳伴意大利青瓜配香草黑水欖汁 Cod Brandade Pastilla, Escabeche Vegetables and Sea Urchin emulsion 酥皮香焗鱈魚茸伴法式燴菜配海膽汁 到期待已久的甜品, 第一次食八角雪糕, 但好好味! 不像平時的花椒八角的八角, 它帶有一點像肉桂的香味, 但與黑加侖子泡芙又配合得很好! 這個超讚^.^b 很新鮮的配搭! 另外香檸撻就保持水準, 沒有甚麼特別驚喜, 而且個脆蛋白糖餅很甜哦! Dessert: Raspberry and blackcurrant Profiteroles, Anis ice cream, warm berry sauce 黑加侖子泡芙伴紅桑子八角雪糕配暖草莓汁  Lemon tart, cripsy meringue and calisson ice cream 法式香檸撻伴脆蛋白糖餅配杏仁雪糕 吃罷petite four及咖啡, 整個lunch便很 圓滿

是日公眾假期 (重陽節), 但店內不是很full。原本book枱時規定8點鐘交枱(6點半開始), 但可能我們後來追加了幾款燒肉而且又沒有人等位, 所以最後都坐到8點半才離開。 我們5人點了飲品, 我叫了個蜜桃シャワー, 要了個沒有酒精的!都不錯,不是很甜, 有淡淡的果香~ 第一輪order了雜菜籃 (不太懂"燒菜"所以感覺味道一般), 先來一個厚切牛舌, 很香, 沒有"so"味, 點了自家製胡椒鹽很惹味  另外叫了牛肋骨和一口牛, 也很不錯, 牛肉不"un", 牛肋骨可以自己動手, 多數肉類都很不錯! 唯獨是其他煮物就欠缺味道, 較為清淡一點, e.g. 韓式冷面, 沒有泡菜味, 沒有辣味, 其實本身就很淡口... 再說那個石鍋飯亦好不了多少! 後來再追加雞肉腸(付雞骨)和魷魚, 都好味! 總括來說, 整體燒肉不錯, 但其他熟食就麻麻地~

We've decided to have our monthly gathering at "Harlan's" 2 weeks ago and luckily it's not yet fully booked  I had no room to try the bread so can't comment on them. The lunch set is mainly divided into 3 and we chose the middle one, with appetizer buffet and main course, which should be sufficient for ladies  The best part was the appetizer buffet! I like the parma ham and melon a lot  the melons were so fresh and juicy! smoked salmon and tuna were good as well~ I took twice  Varieties of salad and cheese were limited but acceptable  Roast of the day was rib eye but it's not tender enough that I couldn't finish them all  Dessert was not too bad~ We had a white chocolate mousse cake and mango ice-cream / sorbet, the mousse cake was creamy and soft though the mango sorbet was too sweet for me  P.S. after having a nice lunch there, we decided to reserve a table for the afternoon tea for our next gathering, but we were told that all Sat/Sundays are fully booked already  we finally chose 28-Jan-2012 but the booking is still not yet confirmed that if the restaurant is chartered for private party, we have to re-schedule our booking!!! but we're making the reservation 3 months ahead!
