when i wondered what to eat in a rush, i passed this bakery & attracted by the crowd inside & the smell of bread. There were quite a lot of choices, i wish i knew this shop months ago when i could not eat Eggs.

they actually indicated individual item contains or Not contain eggs. besides ordinary items, also some bags of buns so u can grab & go.


I took seseme bun since it looked good. the seseme smell good & I guess there was an extra process as it tasted better than other bakery. bread was soft & good

being not contented with Satay King's white curry pork chop..I was seeking for another opportunity for delicious pork chop. When we went to HKUSPACE office in Mei Foo, we have no hesitation to go to 餃子妹

we ordered 香茅豬扒菜飯 & glad to know it always look the same. Portion was large & more than enough for a lady, but just right for a man

香茅豬扒 - juicy & delicious; they were cut to strips after deep fried, conveneint (never the same as some restaurant which cut before deep fried & pork was too dried)
菜飯 - so so

I no longer recalled whether we liked the dumplings here but a lot of ppl order noodle with dumplings this night. I also checked the menu, the dishes were not expensive & they show "spicy" & "veggie" sign which seldom used in small restaurants.

cant expect good environment/ service in small restaurant but still acceptable, floor was wet sometimes

2 different group came here for lunch on two consecutive Sundays

Not too noisy - may be due to not quite convenient location.
1st Sunday - only 3 tables of guests
2nd Sunday - more than 10 tables

Normally items from al la carte menu would not be served during lunch but we requested in advance during reservation so we enjoyed the famous premium crab cake even at lunch

mixed green salad $15 - not very fresh but very cold, we picked honey mustard & there was vvery little salad dressing
bread & butter - not the same each week, fresh & taste good
Tomato Risotto $59 - delicious, risotto not to soft/ hard - perfect
Shrimp & cheese Risotto $69 - fresh shrimp taste great
Shrimp, spinach & mushroom Risotto $69 - good
meat lasagna $69 - rich tomato flavour with lots of meat sauce, good
premium crab cake $98 - quite large portion, lots of crab meat, cruncy by the side & good with the sauce
apple crumble - taste great, apple was not sour, crumble was cruncy & smell good
coffee - so so
lemon tea - fresh lemon, good

service, always polite +
but different experience from 2 visits
- above average, when we didnt finish the salad, waiter came & asked whether the salad was not ok & offer to exchange for another type of salad; flexible in seat arrangement
- brought us hot water when we requested warm one; gave us hot water when we requested an extra cold one

finally Cookies Quartet opens at a more convenient location. Shop is small but clean & tidy. service - polite but a bit slow

shopkeeper said it is made with fresh rose but the ingredient list stated: dry rose petal & natural rose compound. it's good they use organic wheet flour

taste good & feel like having butter cookie while drinking rose tea at the same time
we finished them within 4 days & it became no longer crunchy at day 4

we have been here for dinner a few times, although tonly 2 reservation time slot are available - 1830 & 2030, there r always long queues

we were early so no need to wait at all. general service was ok, lots of choices & table were not too crowded..still noisy. dishes were served quickly.

Portion is reasonable & quality is stable, so wont disappoint us
