We actually visited Indian Kitchen on a groupon deal and had one of the weakest Indian meals we've ever eaten.

The meal consisted of a lime juice drink to welcome you, two breads, something from the tandoor, a starter, two curries and a drink each.

The lime juice was fine and zingy.  So far, no problems.  We opted for tandoori chicken and what came out was dry and tough.  The flavour was OK, but it was badly cooked.

The onion bhaji was OK, but just standard.  Both of the breads were tiny.  The cheese naan had very little cheese and the tandoori roti was dry and chewy.

The curries were also tiny.  The chicken curry tasted of just curry powder, with no depth of flavour.  The paneer makhani was basically just a tomato sauce with weird paneer.  It tasted as if someone had poured a tin of cream of tomato soup over some very processed cheese.   We were kind of relieved that the portions were so mean.

We also paid 12 dollars extra on top of the groupon to get a drink upgrade to a lassi.  We had a gulab lassi and a sweet lassi.  Neither of them was actually a lassi.  There was no yoghurt anywhere near either of them; they just tasted like bad milkshakes.

Effectively there was no real redeeming feature to our meal.  I'm just glad that it was a groupon and that we didn't pay the full price for it.
