This is my second visit to this restaurant. Surprisingly, the restaurant is quiet in the evening of a weekend. We tried the recommended steak menu for two. We picked 2 appetizers, grilled prawns with olive oil & jamon ham on Spanish toasts. The grilled prawns were fresh and grilled to just perfect! The jamon ham were slightly less salty than normal ones, but the toasts are really crispy. Too bad, I forget to take pictures! I have to mention that the restaurant also serves freshly baked Spanish style breads, which are not easy to find in HK. They are so crispy outside & soft inside that I have to finish them, though I know I will be full before the main course.
The steak for two was huge! It came with an additional hot stone. It is very thoughtful of that. The meat was overall juicy, though it contains some tough parts. There are a total of 7 sauces for us to choose from, but I found that it tastes just right with a little bit of sea sault & French mustard seeds. The side dishes are not to be forget! The mini green peppers are tasty, and so does the eggplant with thick tomato sauce. We were told that the cherry tomatoes are special species imported from Spain. They are sweeter than normal ones, and carry no "raw vege" taste. Dessert is tiramisu. Taste is normal. I would like to highly recommend the grilled pork ribs, which I tried in my last visit. It was juicy, and tasted perfect with sea salt! The meat was cooked to a perfect tenderness, so that I can tear the meat off gently by holding the bone with two fingers! It was so good that I finished them before I remember to take any pictures. That is why I return to this restaurant this time.
