Very nice restaurant with a dining area, bar and lounge area.

I have to say that I have lived some time in Spain, Andalusia, so I know a bit my way in the Spanish kitchen. Therefore I was excited to go to this top Spanish restaurant in Hong Kong.

We started with the Pherical Olives. First time I had those. It is a nice sensation and feels like a combination of a grape with an olive taste.

We continued with the Jamon Iberico Croquettas. Good taste and it is like I remember them in Spain with the distinct flavor of the jamon.

Next up was the Cod fish Esqueixada. First time to eat raw cod. This dish was well setup flavor wise. I can say this was a special outstanding dish.

After that we had the Calamares Analusian style. Total five fried squid rings with mayonnaise. Crunch layer outside as it should be and the mayonnaise was tasteful. Also a dish as I remember.

Next tapas was the Cod Fritters. I felt this was the mistake of the evening. Total 6 huge fried balls. The taste was very blend and I could not recognize any typical flavour, at least there was no cod flavour. Eventually we did not finish this dish: we ate 4 balls and left 2.

Best dish of the night was the Tortilla de Trampo. I had many Tortillas in Hong Kong but they all failed. This tortilla is authentic! Full of tasty potato and perfectly pan fried with the eggs. I will return for this one!

Actually one of the dishes I was looking forward to before coming to this restaurant was the Paella. But sadly they only serve paella for lunch ...

As desert we had the Chocolate and the Rice. The chocalate had 3 different types of ice on top of a brownie. My favorite dessert in Spain is the Arroz con Leche.
Although it is a heavy dessert I could finish it. The taste of the rice, milk, vanilla and cinamon together with a crunch melted sugar on top was exactly the taste as I remember from Spain.

Overall I can say that the food was good, better to say authentic. But honestly what I missed with the tapas was a special touch of the cheff to give these authentic dishes a top notch flavour and presentation.
