We should have walked another 5 minutes elsewhere because this place was terrible.

Sweet Shanghai Ribs over udon and wonton ($45). This is an odd combination, I know. Perhaps this should have been warning bells? I don't know. But the the ribs were way too sweet and a bit cold. This wasn't so good as the udon was hot but then it just clumped together. I couldn't finish it.

However, this came with two wontons. A bit odd, I know. But the wontons were actually pretty good.

Emperor Fried Rice ($45). Boyfriend ordered something called Emperor fried rice. This was basically various pieces of random seafood and diced green beans. The rice was so oily and so salty, I didn't like it at all.

Service was really friendly and helpful. There is nothing wrong with the service. It was the food that didn't taste very good. Perhaps we should have ordered congee? Perhaps that was better? But I doubt I'd return again.
