The braised egg white dumpling with hairy crab roe and scallop topped with bird's nest was appropriately light in flavor so as not to overwhelm the crab roe.

The baked crab shell stuffed with hairy crab roe, scallop and wild mushroom was deliciously rich while the steamed hairy crab was a bit lean compared to others I've had this season.

The steamed glutinous rice with hairy crab in bamboo basket had all of us oohing and ahhing when it arrived with a whole crab on top of a sea of roe. It was my first time trying this combination of hairy crab and glutinous rice and I thought it tasted pretty good.

The deep-fried crispy rice stuffed with minced shrimp topped with hairy crab roe and whole prawn was a really creative dish and I loved the different textures and flavors of the different ingredients.

Lastly, we ended the meal with a cute chilled red dates and wolfberry pudding in the shape of a fish and a pan-fried ginger juice pudding. Both were refreshing to eat after eating a whole meal of hairy crab!
