Got the mini moon cakes from Peninsula boutique, eight cute moon cakes in a box, two layers of four.The pastry was very buttery, and when the packet was opened, you could smell the butter from the pastry.The pastry was about 4mm thick, and tasted like the Taiwanese pineapple roll pastry, but softer.The egg custard in the middles was warm orange in colour, and the texture was dense like cheesecake.It was not too sweet, with full creaminess of the custard.
