Korean food is typically known to be quite expensive, running to 500 bucks for a meal for two at any normal Korean establishment. However, Hungry Korean, the Mcdonalds of korean food in Hong Kong, provides another option for something to satisfy my craving for Korea Food. I ordered the seafood pancake which was pretty decent, crispy with great ingredients and a dipping sauce to die for (spicy korean soy sauce...very tangy). I also orderd the gim bap, which is generously portioned with a good amount of fresh ingredients inside. Lastly I ordered the LA korean beef short ribs, which came with a few rice cakes. The ribs were tender and had good flavor and for the price (80 bucks) was worth it. Service is quick and waiters are generous. The only drawback was the wait in line, which sometimes can run up to an hour, as well as the spacing between tables which is a tad tight. Don't expect michelin star food here but for the price, you are getting quite a bit of good quality korean food.
