Fast and yet, served when hot. Very satisfying and yet, inexpensive.The servings are generous without being wasteful. If alone, it is within one's means to order one dish and finish it up without feeling too full. Bigger appetites would probably require two choices, which may be a good thing because you can taste more at one go.The spicy rice cake is spicy without being overly-spicy, so you can still taste the sweetness of the chilli sauce. The servings are generous without being wasteful. If alone, it is within one's means to order one dish and finish it up without feeling too full. Bigger appetites would probably require two choices, which may be a good thing because you can taste more at one go.
The spicy rice cake is spicy without being overly-spicy, so you can still taste the sweetness of the chilli sauce. The texture of the rice cakes are good, soft and chewy, not soggy. Generous with the fish cake too. Could have given a little more sauce though.
The japchae is not soaked in oil, much to my relief. Springy and chewy, good texture which allows one to chew on it without suffering from tired jaws. Not too salty too. Amount of vegetables can yet be a tad more since the dish consist only of the vermicelli and vegetables.
The pork and kimchi went very well with the tofu, which is very soft and fresh. The blandness of the tofu serves to mellow down its stronger counterpart in the dish, very yummy combination.
I like the Kimbab because it is not too big and filling but still enough to satisfy. though the ingredients are very simple, the taste is still good as you can taste the ingredients, as the amount of rice is not too much.
Well worth the price. Only regret is they dont serve the pajeons in the day...
