Let's go chill-out on Friday night ! I always like the podium garden of the Elements. Extremely spacious open area with lots of bars, pubs & eateries where you can have fun with your friends or colleagues. This is our first time to try the Grand Central Bar & Grill. You know what ? Order something with Cajun flavoured never goes wrong ! They never disappoint you. Love the crispy skin & juicy wings ! So lovely to pair with its bourbon-infused BBQ dip! Bravo !
Australian Boston Bay Mussels in White Wine & Garlic Broth $98 (what's on menu till October 18)
Seafood is my all time favourite in any kind ! Loving these big mussels filled with white wine & garlic broth. Super juicy & delicious ! It smelled so good that you can't wait to put it right into your mouth ! Added with some soft herbs to give extra flavours ! Yummy !
+ $55 Basket of Frites
What's more for this What's On menu is that you can top up the dish with extra $55 for a basket of frites OR upgrade with extra $50 to get a glass / pint of alcoholic drink.
Those Frites were just fabulous ! Crispy outside & soft inside with adorable thickness to provide filling texture. So tasty with ketchup or even have it right away. They were so fresh & at right heat when served !
Lobster, Shrimp and Saffron Linguini $198
Very tasty & Al dente linguini completely absorbed the essence of lobster & shrimp. So rich in flavour and the texture was very creamy. Big shrimps and diced lobster meats gave vibrant & attractive appearance to the dish. They were just so fresh & tasty, we finished them off in minutes !! Only one thing was that the pasta was a bit heavy with too much butter or cream. You will easily get full after a few mouths.
We enjoyed the spacious and lovely ambient on second floor a lot coz it was a bit too noisy with rock music & people's laughsters on the ground floor.
It's was an enjoyable dinner with good service. We also treasured my long time missing girls talk as well. LOL
