It was Saturday night, and my brother and I decided to go out for dinner.  It's been a while since we've been to Bubba Gump on the Peak, so we decided to go there.

Before heading up to the Peak, we tried calling the restaurant at about 6pm to make an 8:30pm reservation, but we couldn't, so we got to the Peak at around 8:30 and waited for over an hour to be seated.

We were seated in a booth, so we didn't get to sit next to the windows with a view, but we didn't ask for window seats since we were there for the food and not the view.  Also, I tend to be more focused on the decor of the restaurant with all the memorabilia from the movie.

My brother and I looked through the menu to pick our drinks, but the normal soft drinks were not listed, and we had to ask a waiter for the information.  We each order an iced tea, and since it's not listed in the menu, I only found out that the iced tea was $42 when we got the check.

The Iced Tea was a typical iced tea, and they provided the simple syrup for us to sweeten our tea ourselves.  The iced tea was good, but it doesn't justify the $42 price tag even with free refills.

It didn't takes us a long time to decide on our food order since we've already been to Bubba Gump quite a few times before (and in various locations).

We started with the Shrimp Shack Mac & Cheese.  The mac and cheese was good, and the shrimps were crunchy.

For my main course, I ordered Forrest's Seafood Feast, which consisted of Fried Shrimps, Hush Puppies, Fish and Chips, and Coleslaw.  The dipping sauces were pretty good, but the fried seafood was only lukewarm.  The Coleslaw lacked an adequate amount of dressing, and I had to ask a waiter to bring me more dressing.

I understand that Bubba Gump is an American chain restaurant, so the food is shipped frozen from the US and cooked or reheated at the local restaurant.  The problem with the Hong Kong branch is that they didn't fry the seafood long enough in Forrest's Seafood Feast and didn't add the right amount of dressing to the coleslaw, which made the dish different from other locations I've had it before.

Even though they hand out surveys at the end of each meal, I don't think the Hong Kong branch values these surveys very much since their location has a lot of tourist traffic and they are the only branch in Hong Kong, so they don't have a problem with the number of guests patronizing the restaurant.
