The very last time I have been to Express Teppenyaki in Taikoo Place was on 19th Oct 2008. The staff are nice, helpful as always and they ensure the first come first serve policy. However, the teppenyaki chef are getting worse and worse (compared to 3 months and 6 months ago). It is a disgrace to the teppenyaki professional when seeing the hot plate get burned, get blacken and dirtier after each cooking without shoveling and cleaning in between cooking. However, the teppenyaki chef are getting worse and worse (compared to 3 months and 6 months ago). It is a disgrace to the teppenyaki professional when seeing the hot plate get burned, get blacken and dirtier after each cooking without shoveling and cleaning in between cooking. The most part of the hot plate area are oily. Never mind the clothes they use to wipe the hot plate.
Sorry the soup is a cheap scam - just some water with carrot flavour and few piece of carrot floating. I am sorry.
It is pretty much the same price I pay 6 months ago, but the cooking was not up to standard. It would be good to train up the chef more and cook like real tepannyaki. Thanks!
