A very lovely lunch! I arrived at 1p.m and there wasn't much people yet. It was raining quite heavilly and super cold so I ordered their Bak Kut Teh (the waitress told me that it was their best dish - and the best solution to kick the cold away).Smelled really nice!! the soup was sweet with lots of chinese herbs and medicines. The pork was for soft, carrying a very rich taste of the soup.I ordered the Seafood Pomelo Salad as well. Pomelo has always been my favourite. It was really fresh and swee
My main dish was Sambal Sauce Grilled Stingray. The waitress told me that they usually have to reserve/preorder in advance, I was lucky to have the dish when I was there. The Sambal sauce was very sweet and a bit chilly. Applied to the stingray and put on grilling kept the original taste of stingray while adding some excitements totally gained my mouth and heart.
The stringray was grilled to perfection, with watermouthing sauce. YumYum!!
The restaurant was small but it offered dishes from quite a lot of Aesan countries, e.g. Thai, Malay, Singapore, etc. with very traditional cooking method. A must try in TaiHang.
