We visited Namaste Kitchen at 11:00 in the morning of the oct 1st holiday, but it was not open yet. We were informed by the waitress that they will open at 11:30. So we went to grab a coffee and returned in 30 mins, the restaurant was opened as promised, and there was a couple of South-asian guests were already sitting at a table before us.

We ordered 2 brunch sets: Lamb rogan joshh & Chicken Makhani to share.
Each set is with a green salad, a samosa, a cup of coffee/tea/soda, a main course with rice or plain naan.

Green salad was fresh & crunch, topped with a slightly spiced mint yogurt dressing. it's not quite indian but very refreshing, I really liked it.

I'm a huge fan of samosa. The samosa here was with a thin and crunchy crust, kind of on the hard side. I personally prefer the tender and flaky crust of the samosa from Chautari. The filling was quite savory but didn't taste much of oriental spice, but very strong fragrance of dried thyme. That was strange for me, or maybe it's the flavor from some region of India or Nepal. I think the samosa from Chautari was way better.

It was the first time we tasted Makhani, maybe we don't have expertise to judge it, but it really impressed us. it wasn't spicy at all, but really flavorful. We both agreed it's the best course amount all.

The lamb rogan josh was also very nice. the meat was quite lean, with a little tenden, but not dry at all. it was perfectly cooked, tender yet with its texture. it's with a complex flavor of spices, but only slightly hot.

I'm a carb lover, I have no complaint with rice & the naan. They went perfect with the main course.

Each brunch set costs only $80+10% service charge.
Great taste & generous portion for such bargain price. We're really satisfied with this brunch.

Score: 8/10
