I am not a Vegetarian but today would like to trial something new. The restaurant simply decorated and have some articles and newspaper cutting posted on wall about vegetarian cuisine. They also have a area to sell some organic food.

I saw clear instructions for self-service to customers.

1. Please get a seat first.
2. Pick up a plate and queue up to select the food you want.
3. Weight and Paid at cashier.

The price charge at $18 per 100 g, but I don't realize how many food equal to 100 g and the mimimum order amount was $33.

I felt hungry at this lunch time. I just pick up the food that I want. The food served at self-service, I pick up some Steamed and Braised tofu dishes, Stir-fried broccoli with some vegetarian meat. Moreover, Potatoes with curry, Stir-fried long beans and Steamed eggplnt with faked scallop. I was queued and waited for paid at the cashier, but I was surprised that it charge me at $99
. I don't think such dishes worth at this price, I would like to try other restaurant instead. I realized why others pick up at small portion when they queued.

After I paid, I got a seat and saw the next self-service counter served steamed rice, congee, soup and drinks. I got some rice and some soup. I try the dishes, the taste and quality was fresh and not too much MSG, some of the taste like to eat at my home. The soup was taste light and clear as well. I finally finished up all the dishes and rice, I have a good appetite today.

I could saw their customers collect their own plates and bowl at the end of their meal and send to dirty plates collection area. The staff will come and wipe up the table. I think this is a very good practice for a self-service restaurant, especially could even save the manpower.

It is a good try in this restaurant but I would like to control my appetite next time. Save the earth and save my wallet.
