Visited before and liked the Kurobuto Pork Chop a lot- tender, juice, meaty flavor--, but tonight, it was truly disappointing.1. the appetizer - shrimp with herb oil... only one piece cut in 2 halves; not much taste, bit overcooked so chewy; only tasted herb oil; a few pieces of tomatoe and veggie. This "would-be $188" dish is such a ripoff! Lucky we ordered as part of the set...still think it's overpriced.2. seafood soup- pretty watery, not the creamy type, a few (really a few) pieces of sea

2. seafood soup- pretty watery, not the creamy type, a few (really a few) pieces of seafood; nothing much.
3. Kurobuto Pork loin - tonight, they cut it into 2 thinner silices (half-inch thick). Overcooked, so very dry, rather hard to chew. Also, too much spice flavor that covers the meaty taste of the pork. When I chewed, I did't taste the used-to-be meaty pork aroma anymore; I only tasted the spice. There were a few pieces of veggie.
4. Kurobuto Pork Rack - similar to the loin, texture a bit hardened and a bit dry. The rack was easier to chew. Maybe it's because they keep it as thick slice (1 inch) so the juice and flavor were better concealed. The portion was big. There still was strong taste of the spice instead of the pork's geniune taste.
Compare to what we tasted before--juicy, tender and had the geniune pork aroma; this time was really disappointing.
What was even more interesting was that we weren't able to finish the rack so we saved some veggie to complement it for take-home. When we got home, then we realized they only packed the rack by itself and threw away all the side veggie!
Service was awkward. The manager did come to our table to check if everything was okay. We told him our feedback above. He didn't express anything and only said "let me check" and left...and didn't come back.
