We visited Sai Kung founding restaurant after a birthday party,ordered my son's favourite water melon iced drink and I had a dessert. My son got a water melon juice instead (the 2 items are confusingly grouped together on their menu, we ordered iced drink, waitress can't be bothered to listen/check/clarify, the restaurant was not busy); the waitress took the juice away and returned with the same with another glass of crushed ice!?  Why does she not just point us in the direction of the ice machine?  My son also thought it did not taste nice and left half of it for myself to finish, it was pale pink and so probably not a ripe water melon or most of the white outer part was thrown into the blender.  I have often considered Honeymoon desserts pricier than non-franchised places where the proprietors have to rely on delivering quality food and services, as opposed to riding on the brand name and just trying to increase business and profits, and not even care about customer service and opinions as not to have a Complaints/Customer Service Department.Next evening, my wife wanted durian pancake and my youngest son wanted sago coconut milk from our local Tuen Mun branch. It was Mother's Day evening but the restaurant was full but not hectic, no queues. I ordered the two items, got home in the heavy rain, only to find they got my son's order wrong also! How can two orders for two items on two separate consecutive days at different branches but 50% wrong, are their staff that badly trained or just cannot care less. I returned with the wrong dessert, waited for them to search for the order, it was finally replaced and I was actually overcharged and refunded a $.When asked what the right channel was for complaints, I was told there was no telephone number to make a complaint nor given an address to do so. I went home, again, in the pouring rain to feed my little boy his sago dessert, well unimpressed with this "success story" and wonder just how badly you can run a business in Hong Kong to fail!!! I am certainly not going back again.
