L'Eclair de Genie originates from Paris with shops in Pacific Place and Prince Building. But recently they have putting little counters inside CitySuper. These smaller counters only sell a selection of eclairs. As it's located inside CitySuper, you pay by lining up at the CitySuper cashiers so there may be a line to pay.

I bought four for take away as a friend was going to give me a private latte making class at her company office. Choosing a few that would work with coffee.

From left to right: salty caramel, passionfruit framboise, dark chocolate and yuzu. Price around $50 each. Last time I had tried the salty caramel and dark chocolate. So this time passionfruit framboise and yuzu is new. I oddly liked these even more than the sweet ones as they were tart. The passionfruit was tart with a sweet raspberry cream filling. The yuzu was super sour and for me, I liked it as I like sour things.

Perhaps due to the fact these may have sat out a bit longer than the other branches, the eclairs weren't as crisp and bit more soft. Yet it still tasted pretty good.
