Since this place has recently been recommended in the 2014 Michellin Star guide book, without a thought I immediately bought a groupon ($188 for two, excluding the 10% service charge). This shop (in North Point) interior decor looks pleasant, it's much brighter n newer compared to the one in Quarry Bay. However, the food quality is not even close to what I expected. Perhpas it's newly opened, the waitstaffs (3 men) seem don't coordinate well when passing food around. Including us, lots of customers don't get water refill until they asked for.

Two of us order lamb and tandori spring chicken as our main courses, the rest of the courses are all fixed. To start with, we can sample lots of things including pumking soup, black truffle nann bread (free flow), Oyster Masala, Papadum (free flow), deep fried ginger fish, poached egg stuffed with indian cheese n dried tomato mousse, apphonse mango dhai puri, n black truffle nann bread (free flow). Without the glamour truffle, the nann bread is ok, semi soft n a bit crispy. The bread is just warm not as hot as the one I gladly tried in the Clay Oven (in Kennedy Town). The Papadum tastes ok even though it's slightly thicker n less spicier than the ones I usually have in other places. The taste of Masala sauce in Oyster dish was subtle n lighter. For the main courses, my husband said ok sauce and taste for the lamb but not special. For my tandori spring chicken, I would give thumb down. My chicken was 80% cooked. Half an hour later I saw the girl next to my table also ordered the same dish, it was 60% cooked still see the pinkish raw-looking meat. The seared potato dices on the side were tasty, but the Masala-looking sauce again taste like a fusion version of mild Masala flavor. I feel like they use that sauce everywhere. One thing I would give a STAR thumb is the presentation skill, good job!

For the drink,... if you love Hong Kong style milk tea, here's good. I expected this will have a note of indian spices flavor... the fact is NO. It make quite no difference to the HK style milk tea.

I used to have lunch in the Tulsi near my workplace in Quarry Bay. The food quality there is always thumb up, with no complaint. But I've no clue why the quality in this new place drop down so much. Perhaps I've overestimated, but sorry to say I really can't find/remember one thing I've put in my mouth that desserve a STAR level.
