It was a hot stuffy day, and after having a light lunch, it wasn't long before my stomach started growling. Hence, with my friends' suggestion, we headed to the nearest place for an icy treat.

As a clean eater, I would always try to avoid all sugary and starchy desserts like mochis and puddings. Instead, I opted for the mixed fruits with herbal jelly, which was accompanied by a choice of fruit juice (I ordered kiwi juice for the sake of its vitamin C content). At my surprise, the shop accepts orders for sugar-free fruit juice, which is brilliant.

The dessert came with a glass bowl. It consists of mixed fruits such as kiwi, strawberry, mango, honey dew, watermelon and cantelope, over a bed of herbal jelly and kiwi juice.

Indeed, the kiwi juice was purely sweetened by its own natural sugars, which was pretty much sweet enough for the dessert. The fruits are all very sweet and quite fresh, but I'd love to have more herbal jelly as there's only roughly a dozen of tiny jelly cubes in each serving.
