I came across this place in Mong Gok that is sells takeaway pudding, tea and ice cream. It claimed to be from Singapore and all their pudding are healthy and organic. Curious, I gave it a try.It's a super small shop. Seriously ... for take away only. The staff was eager to explain why their pudding was different. Instead of using gelatin, they use collagen as a stablizer. Um...what? Yeah, that's what I heard her say. The soybeans are organic. And it's sweetened with pandan syrup.
I ordered an almond flavored soybean pudding to take away. They suggested that I should place it in my fridge to chill before eating as gelatin is no used, it will be more soft than usual puddings. So, I put it in my fridge overnight to have for dessert the next day for dinner.
Packing was convenient as they placed the small cup of pandan syrup on top and securely taped down with tape with their logo on it.
Tasting it without the pandan sauce, the almond came out very strong and the pudding was very smooth and light. It was a pretty good pudding. I liked it a lot. I poured the pandan sauce on top and I think the pandan syrup covered the almond taste and slightly ruined it. Perhap next time I won't add the pandan syrup.
Would definitely be back and try ice cream next time.
