Dan Ryan’s is an American style restaurant that I use to have family dinner all the time since childhood and it never failed me, so I’ve decided to write a review about it. The onion soup was so flavorful but not too salty, the melting cheese was getting chewy to the point that it started to stick onto my teeth. There was a small piece of baguette soaked within the soup, it was actually quite soggy and spongy in a tasty kind of way, loved it.
The potato skin on the hand was good but not as nice as it was years before I’d say.
As a cheese lover I of course chose the goat’s cheese dressing for my Cobb salad and it did the magic, it made an ordinary salad into a very rich and creamy dish while it would not be too overwhelming. The good thing about this restaurant is that it allows for a refill of the dressings when you run out of it, be prepared to drown your own bowl of salad!

The eggs benedict here was above average, the sauce was a bit too tangy. Maybe they accidentally squeezed a bit too much lemon juice into the hollandaise sauce.
But overall I’d rate this restaurant as above average, the portions are reasonable for the prices they offer. Well done~
