The service provided is making the price tag a complete joke.

For a 150 HKD lunch, I didn't expect the best service in town but a decent normal thing for an average Joe standard.  To draw attention from the waiter in the busy central lunch is known to be struggle so this is not what the fuss is about.  The menu suggests a medium spicy standard and reminded customer to ask for more if needed.  One would thought that is a nice gesture until he/she found the appetiser comes with the set lunch is spicy enough for you to cry out for water.  Yet, there is none, even though I did order one.  The main course was then served and at this point of time, I will drink anything less spicy to wash away my palette.  The Luksa soup may not be the best choices but given how busy those waiters are, one won't have a real choice but let the sip the soup off.  After 10 minutes, the percious lemon soda was finally served.   Hey, I thought it was a "set lunch", which comes in set, together.

Apparently, I was expecting too much.  But as a lunch seeker in central, one is trained to suck it up and bite the bullet. Two minute or so passe without further episode.  Unfortunately it turns out a short lived peace. While I am still fast working through the 50% full Luksa noodle soup and the 80% full soda, a waitress came to ask me to settle the bill and go, simply because the restaurant is busy and they have people waiting.  I was with full mouth of noodles, staring at her in disbelief.  Why doesn't she just collect money from the waiting line and send them through the exit doors.  That would probably make sense for her instead of opening a restaurant.

Of course I have been in the waiting line in Central so the sympathy somehow motivated me to work on my food faster.  By the time I finished, my watch advised that I spent 8 minutes waiting for the waiter to take my order, 18 minutes to wait for any drink to be served, and was given 4 minutes to actually have my "set lunch", and was immediately served with the bill that is automatically asking for 10% of service charge.  Frankly, in any normal circumstances, I am happy to pay service staff.  But here it would be fair to send them a medical bill for my stomach ache afterwards.

It must be a long time to get the waiting staff so eager for my table.  One would assume.  As I walked out of the restaurant, there are two empty tables and a queue of two parties.

That makes me wonder what the real problem is about this restaurant.  Diagnosis - Terrible management.

Of course, the thought of apology never came across any of these service staff.  Customers are only their cash machine, deserved to be seated at the worst table possible, served poorly, rushed out and billed for barely existant service.

Bloody brilliant!
