Tonkichi use to be my favorite Tonkatsu restaurant in HK but recently, its gotten alot worst. I dont know what happened but the quality of the food dropped yet the price went up. Other than the food quality everything is about the same and nothing has changed, especially the wait line.The pork cutlet use to be tender and juicy, but the last couple times i went the meat happened to have alot more fat in it but even with that extra fat the pork was very dry (bbq pork dry ''cha siu''). Worst of all

Worst of all which is one thing i cant stand was the cutlet was luke warm as if it has been sitting out for at least 5-10 minutes.
The fried prawn hasn't changed and it's still extremely good. Same said about the friend oysters.
So really in the end their signature dish has extremely dissapointed me, I have no problem paying the price but if im not getting that quality of what i pay for then ill have to think twice before dining at Tonkichi Tonkatsu.
